The BIG change comes in 2007 when we are to see a redesigned LX. What they call it, I do not know but the big change is not in 2006

carbonfiber Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 I was at Toyota's Technology Center in Odaiba (Tokyo) and they have the current body style on display there, so I highly doubt we will see any dramatic change of platform this year. It is pretty rare when a model like this hits the US shores before Japan sees it.

greggebhardt Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 The very earlest we will see the new 2007 JX will be very late 2006 or early 2007 according to my dealer. He did talk to someone in the regional Lexus office and confirmed the JX for 2007.
cfbrenton Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I have heard the same thing. If it is based on the Sequioa or the Tundra, I will never buy one ever again. What makes this vehicle what it is, is the Land Cruiser pedigree. I love having a Land Cruiser on Steriods.
netnut Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 i just was lexus confirmed informed that lx470 is being discontinued I just got off the phone from Lexus Annapolis and was told that the LX470 would have no changes for the next two years.Except for maybe a tailight. Hmmmm
