nkt001
I'm looking into the idea of putting a Navigation system into my 2000 ES. My main question is, is this possible ?? I would like to put a OEM toyota/lexus unit. I know that Navigation wasn't on option for that year, but I would still like to know if putting in a unit could be done. What would I all need besides the factory Navigation head unit? Could I connect it to the factory CD changer? Has anyone else thought about or done this ?? Any help would be appreciated. Do you know where I can get that information.

I have a stealership installed Magellan 750NAV and it works great. that's the older model, they have newer mobile ones out for about 600 bucks, that way you can use it in multiple cars or even hiking! Although it doesn't include a step-by-step procedure, he's clued in on some of the wiring techniques for the navigation unit. The unit he's retrofitted is off of a late-model Toyota. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...&hl=sunman++nav
