jadecuir Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Yesterday I was poking around in the trunk of my '90 LS400. I pulled off the left side panel (tool box side) and discovered a mysterious black box, about the size of a cigarette carton, locked in place. I don't have this key! What is it? John

One antenna wire and about 8 wires in a harness. Thanks What do you do to disconnect it? Is it the box mounted behind the driver's rear seat or the one on the side wall in front of the tool box?

steve2006 Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 If it's fastened behind the diagonal bracing bar it will be the remote control receiver it uses the rear screen heater as the aerial.
