blake918
In my 94' ES, the dome light in the headliner only comes on when either of the front doors are opened never when either of the rear doors are opened. Is this normal, or do I have a problem?
SKperformance
the rear doors if not opened frequently the pins will seize a bit towards the back of the door and car there is a small rubber boot below the handle on the frame edge of the door sill pull off the rubber boot and apply wd- 40 or preferable white grease or lithium grease it will help reduce the friction and the ligth should now work ok from now on
amf1932
It probably is due to oxidation on the switch contacts due to lack of use. I used a spray on contact cleaner on the switch which worked very well. Alan

jonathanho
I'm having the same problem, but according to sk: "there is a small rubber boot below the handle on the frame edge of the door sill pull off the rubber boot and apply wd- 40 or preferable white grease or lithium grease it will help reduce the friction" I don't understand where I should apply WD-40, basically I don't understand where is the frame edge and pulling off the rubber boot part?! Please advise...
