Jthomas1315
Owned 36 cars before this, mostly grocery getters when I had real young kids, Some of the more fun ones; '87 VW Fox - Underpowered, but handled like a go cart. '67 Olds Toronado - Great car! It ate tires about every 15k '91 Mazda Miata - Neighbor bought it, I get right of first refusal should he sell it. '97 BMW Z3 - I found it not that all engaging. Worst POS - Olds Cutlass Supreme Diesel - I now know why I got it so cheap. Current Stable 94 - LS400 - 165k - Looks brand new 95 - ES300 - 265k - Hard to tell it from new 92 - SC300 - 130k - Weekend and road trip car. lobotomyxx
1999 Saturn SL2 sedan . . . I miss this car 1.9l bored over 2.0l with 91 sc2 pistons & rings, Apexi Neo w/ AEM wideband for fuel control, 440cc Supra injectors, re-grounded the car to its true sub-frame, re-spooled alternator (180a), optima red top, kyb gr-2's wth H&R race springs, Konig hyper-light 10.2lb race wheels, sohc transmission swap, hot air intake, bored throttle body, custom 2.5" exhaust. Naturally aspirated setup put down 220fwhp, ran a 14.1 @ 93.2mph with conservative tuning. Handled like an m3 coupe, roared something fierce for the 4 banger it was. I really miss that car. But it did well by me . . . I got to walk away.
gcrookston
2008 Ford Taurus SE (company car) great car 2007 Ford Taurus SE (company car) crappy car 2006 Grand Marquis LS (company car) road sofa 2004 Ford Taurus SES (company car) so-so car Was laid off in April and a client of mine had his mother's 1995 SC400 for sale for some time... I needed a car, a one owner, garage kept, dealer maintained, with 89k miles for $3,500.00.... I was looking for Toyota reliability and thought I was going to go look at a 4 door... LS, but no regrets. But after driving it in snow/ice I am now looking for a 90 series landcruiser or LX470
richard lee
A 1983 Lincoln Continental Givenchy purchased in 1985. Purchased my 2000 SC 300 in January 2004 w/42k on it. Still drove the Continental for a year after, then donated it to Melwood. SC now has 66k on it and the Lexus dealer is driving me nutz trying to get me to flush all fluids yearly!
