I have noticed that many of you guys have mentioned that you go to autozone to have somebody take a read of what might be malfunctioning in the car.

I live real close to an autozone, and i would like to know whats wrong with my car.

what kind of service do i need to ask them for?

how much does it cost? is it offered in every autozone?

i looked it up on their site but could not find it.

it is not really a service but if your check engine light comes on

it means you computer has erceived an error code for which it needs to hooked up to an obd2 scanner to be read then a technition can diagnois what is wrong.

they only have a scan tool at autozone

Just ask them to read your OBD codes. Then if you need to see what the codes mean come back here and post them and ask.
