Suggestions Buying A 92 Es300

I am planning to buy a '92 ES300 with 89K miles on it for $6000. The car has been well kept. I got it checked from the Toyota dealer, they did not find any problems with it.

I was just wanted to know if the '92 model is know to give a lot of problems? I have a '90 mustang right now and it keeps requiring repair all the time. Don't want to buy another car that buggs me that much.

Is 6000 is a good price for the car?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

run the numbers through www.kbb.com, www.vehix.com and www.edmunds.com

see what they show for your area (keys off or zip code your put in), condition or the car, extras.

Remeber to select resale (not trade in).

most definately run the VIN through www.carfax.com (this will cost you $14.95 for the official report).

6 grand is ok

but for a few hundred more and some time

buy a 94-96 model

they have a much better engine all aluminum

and a few more changes in the interior like a passenger airbag

and headlights fog and tails on the 95-96

see if you can find one of those cheap

I agree..... Myself, I would talk to my bank and see what kind of payment I could get with $5000 down and go for a 97-98 model.

There are some great buys out there!

Best of Luck, and let us know which one you go for!

I see that it has 89K miles ....

isn't there a 90K mile service for the timing belt and usual stuff?

If he is shelling out $6000 wouldnt you want this taken care of 1st?

Just a thought...
