Ended up being the Battery Cable... replaced and running fine! Thanks for the input though!

Last week we bought a new battery, car started great ran great. This morning I come out and the car wont start... The gearshift will not come out of park... when I jump it off, the car starts, but when I take the jump box off it idles down and dies... is this the battery or some other problem I need to check? Thanks

No Power When Starting Out In Morning.... Anyone Know?

The motor... I floor the accelerator and it just boggs down... No slipping at all it goes, but crawls... then it gets the power back and its back to normal.... seems like it happens when the car sits for a long period of time... -
When I pull out of my drive in the morning, my Lexus boggs down it seems, NO POWER until a few min's later then everything is fine... It gets kinda scary at times because I pull out on to a busy highway at times and feel like someone is going to run up my back end becasue I cant accelerate.... has anyone experienced this? or may be know what I could look for? Thanks

I see that it has 89K miles .... isn't there a 90K mile service for the timing belt and usual stuff? If he is shelling out $6000 wouldnt you want this taken care of 1st? Just a thought...

I agree..... Myself, I would talk to my bank and see what kind of payment I could get with $5000 down and go for a 97-98 model. There are some great buys out there! Best of Luck, and let us know which one you go for!

If you supersize the interior picture you can see where the diriver left a SKID on the leather seat! I would also have Crapped one the size of a brick if it were my ES :whistles:

Had my Check engine light code read and the problem with my '93 ES 300 was the FRONT o2 SENSOR ( $82.15 ) I also had a new air filter put on ( $18.60 ) I bought this car off eBay and had the mechanic check it over the only thing that I need to get is a Anti Rotation Mount, which I have on order ( $57.60 ) Hope this helps some for info...

I believe it has to do with the emmissions sensor, I would have it checked out though.

Bought my '93 ES300 of eBay for $4750 I too have a instrument gauge was dimmer than normal ... other than that it looks great and drives strong 164K miles on it.
