Hey Sk. what kind AND how much did u pay for ur Cold air intake??? And did it help in any way? mileage/performace etc? AND did you have to get a different chip? Its an achieveable Mod for me right now :)

i acutally built my intake myself as the first part i started to custom make

for lexus

it gives great milage and performance

i also do not have a drop in my torque curve unlike many camry's that have been dyno'd also

not sure what you mean by an achevable mod

meaning price

ease of install

or what

fill me in

also i did them for customers in toronto for about $300

install and all hardware in 3 hours

Yea, achieveable as in $ and ease of DIY. I could also use the better mileage since im getting 16mpg max. But next week/month im going to get new brakes, oil change, and im gonna ask for one of those "flush thingies" that clear out crap and make the car drive like new (so i hear) That fule additive didn't seem to help, so might as well have a professional do their stuff. If that doesn't cost TOO much, i might have $$ left over to do a cold air intake. But, i don't know too much about my 97's intake to mod it quite yet. So im trying to read about it, and look on line for Kits. http://www.weapon-r.com/airbox.html Like what about this??? or is there a DIY that looks good and works just as good?

once the flushie thing is done you will 100% get better milage

no doubt

the cold air is only a diy if you have worked with the materail like metal and plastics before or you could get the filter in the wrong place and leak

one more thing is the lower grille is from a 95-96 es with the rectangle fogs since i took out the useless projectors

( fogs are supposed to be a wide short beam

kinda defeated by a projector)

not that my new ones are any better

i have yet to see a fog light do any good in any fog period

it only gives the car a nicer look
