chuckb Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 RE: Meguiars Gold Class Leather Wipes I know some don't reccomend leather treatments that are clearners and conditioners in one. I called Meguiars today and they said just the wipes were all I needed and that the cleaners in it are very mild. What do you guys think? BTW-I love the smell of them.
SW03ES Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 Naa, I haven't found anything in the wipe form to be any good. Generally you want to stick to 2 step systems too as one steps don't condition as well.
rl9905 Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 I bought the Meguiars Gold Class Leather Wipes and they suck. Just like SW03ES said, "stick to 2 step systems as one steps don't condition as well." I use Lexol, its' a very good product. http://www.lexol.com/docs.html
sgriffith Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 I use the Autoglym products found on the lexuscarcare.com web site. I have found them to be wonderful products. After using Lexol, though, I will probably switch to their cleaner product & conditioner product....as they can be found at a near-by store. I love the Autoglym stuff though....if I hadn't tried Lexol (not that I think it is a better product) I would have never switched!! I was a former Meguiers leather care fan...but there is no comparison.
VBdenny Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 This may sound terrible, but I use the Maquire's because I like the smell. I usally add a little leather cleaning spray as well. I thought the Amourall leather wipes smelled like (edit),
