silvermate Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 Welcome to the club :D why would you want to mod the fuel filter?
30585 Posted November 5, 2004 Author Posted November 5, 2004 lol, not to mod the fuel filter, i do not think she has ever replaced it, so i would like to have that taken care of, when i say modding i mean, intake, y-pipe and or x-pipe, b-pipes, cams, or perhaps even forced induction. on another note i went to my friendly/ handy dandy discount auto parts and found out that the ls has 2 catalytic converters, 1 pre-cat and 4 mufflers, all ic an say in regard to that information is that car is massively restricted on the exhaust side.

kcpth Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 Welcome to LOC. Like what 99LSGUY said, check out: www.lexls.com This website has an extensive tutorial and perhaps some mods for LS400. He has a first Gen LS like you n I, so you'll find the site especially helpful. This is the website for your fuel filter. http://www.lexls.com/fuelfilter.html Also if you go to the main page... there is a section. It's called Tutorials. You might find some info there too. 92Lex has done some tutorials there. I get a kick seeing that squirel. HAHAHAHA B) N yup, i agree with you on the exhaust part. Especially the one i'm looking for. They are very hard to get. Even a local mechanic here (Monroe Brakes & Mufflers) has a hard to getting it. I guess the only way to get them is either at a junkyard or @ Toyota or Lexus. :chairshot:
92Lex Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 Yeah, lookin' at that dead beat drunk w/ the cancer stick in his mouth makes my day better.
