Glitchy Navigation/electronics screen

Recently I picked up a 2015 Deep sea Mica ES 350 Crafted Line for my son and it came with a glitchy Nav screen. Sometimes it works flawlessly other times it won’t work at all. I did see where there is an update to download via flash drive and was wondering if that could be the issue. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Did you manage to get the glitch fixed? 

 

Sidebar thought: I've heard from several sources that cleaning the display screen with an interior cleaner that contains ammonia is an absolute no-no. Ahmed at The Car Care Nut YouTube channel (highly recommended) says the same. Perhaps that's the contagion that struck your nav screen?
