mxl4729 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I have a 1997 Lexus ES 300. I just took off the stock rims to put on a set of 2002 IS 300 rims with 215/50/17 tires. Of course the rear did not fit because I did no check the back spacing. Now that I have done a search and see that I need some sort of spacers I have some questions that I could not find answers to in the forums. 1. is it safe to use spacers 2. First can I use ¼ inch spacers with my stock studs or do I have to replace them with longer ones. 3 what size should I use? I have found 3/6 ¼ 5/16 4 has any one had vibration problems because the stock wheels are hub centric and when I use a spacer they will no longer be hub centric 5. should I use spacers on all 4 wheels so they are all even or should I only really use them on the back. Thanks everyone for your help.
mxl4729 Posted October 19, 2004 Author Posted October 19, 2004 So far I was thinking about using http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=42614 One more question has anyone had problems with vibrations or road noise from them or worst of all wheel studs breaking or wheel falling off?
