I did them both on the Interstate here and local roads, and YES, they both drove like a truck. The suspension sure wasn't a smooth ride. But it did get better once I got to around 55 to 60 on the highway roads. The local driving was, I my opinion, too stiff. I had owned a pickup years ago, and unfortunately the ML rode just like that. SKperformance Posted September 24, 2004 Share Posted September 24, 2004 ML's are nice looking somewhat comfortable but alot do come from the states and i would not get one with a vin that starts with a 4jgab as it is a USA one get a wdb as it's finish and reliability is better. It drives like a truck but the 500 is very torquey and smooth to me ,but still not reliable enough. 350 is not bad it depends on what you want in it.
