Screen Reverts To Map

On my Nav-equipped 01 LS430, the screen always reverts back to the map display. For instance, if I press the "Climate" or "Audio" buttons to change the radio or air settings, after a few seconds the screen will revert back to the map.

I would rather have the screen stay on whatever the last button I pressed would be. I can't seem to find a way to do this. Do you think the dealer could change a setting so it would stay at whatever I last pressed?

This is actually easily done, I'm not sure why its not included in the menu screen though...

Go to "INFO" and push "SCREEN TRANSITION" this will be a simple screen with an "ON" and an "OFF" buttons. It will be set to "ON" switch it to "OFF"

hmm thats interesting....but for what its worth you can control nearly everything from the map screen. because of the little pop ups that happen

Keep in mind that his nav and my nav are different generations from your nav.
