Lindah Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 There are slots on the sun visor on the opposite side of the mirror. Does anyone know what they are for? The slots are on both the driver and passenger side. Thanks!
Bykfixer Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Folding paper maps. Some still use them. Perhaps to store the registration and proof of insurance,
Lindah Posted March 31, 2023 Author Posted March 31, 2023 Good ideas- I was just wondering what Lexus intended them for. I think maps would be hard to get in there but it would work for registration and insurance papers

AlaNgo Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 The slots are also used to hold plastic key cards for opening a parking garage, like an underground parking garage to a business or residential multi-story building. These types of parking garages are endemic to urban life in Japan, so drivers in urban Japan will have more than 1 of these parking cards.
