norbertk Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Everything was going fine when I got home and the car was fine when I parked it. After a few hours, I went back to my car to run to the store, and after pulling forward to move out of the way of a car, I put my car in reverse, and there was a hard shift. I began to roll backwards and then I heard a loud thump, and the car felt like it went into neutral. I tried to continue and it went very slow, and kept slipping.. I put it back into drive, and it went fine forward.. All other drive gears work fine. The transmission fluid is fine, and at it's normal level. I don't remember the last time it was changed, but a new transmission was placed into the car about 4 years ago. Anyone have any ideas?
SKperformance Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 get it in the air and clean the screen and replace the fluid then idle it for a bit to cuiculate and hopefully clear the clot
