i found a set of rims that look good on my new car:

http://elitrix.net/everythingauto/album_pic.php?pic_id=327

thats just a quick photoshop, they wont be that big, but 17X7. what size and brand do you guys reccomend??? i do a mix of city and highway/wet and dry roads.

comfort is not nessecarily the priority here, treadwear and grip are a concern, but grip is the biggest concern. it has to grip. and for under $200 a piece if possible.

205, 70 r15...try that one, i think thats right.

Huh? How are you going to fit a 205/70r15 tire onto a 17x7 rim?

If you are saying your current OEM tires are 205/70 then ... With x7 rims, I'd stay with 215 or 225 wide tires. 215/55 would be the exact have outside diameter as your OEM size, which is a good thing. If you want the wider tire, 225/55 would be 0.4" taller in diameter. If you are not planning to lower the car, this should be OK. 225/50 would be 0.4" shorter in diameter. Both will throw off your speedo/odo. Pick your poison.

Good luck.
