Does Qd Finish Come Off When You Wash?

Just bought some Macguire's Quick Detailer and used it for the first time. I thought it worked great, but I assume the finish comes off when you wash the car or when it rains. Am I guessing right?

it isn;t a finish but a cleaner of sorts , it removes a thin film of debris and wax to leave a clean reflective finish of new wax, think of it as a gentle exfoliation or acid peel.

it has a slight film left behind with optical brightners

In other words yeah it will wash off ;)

A product you might want to try out is Eagle One's Wax as U Dry. Works like a QD but it saves a step. I use it with every wash.
