Pioneer Avic-n1 Dvd/navigation

I wanted to know if anyone here had Pioneer AVIC-N1 DVD/Navigation? I have real interest in purchasing it maybe three months from now. One of my friends told me that I would have to get a customized dash made. Anyone heard of such a thing?

what year is your ES ?

any ES would need a custom plate made unless it is a 92-96 which has a cheap premade kit

i have a 97-01 face plate already made ,they usually cost about 250 to make.

the N1 is a great peice ,now if only alpine made one ,i would be all over it.
