NeiLtYmE
So heres a good one? For those of you who have worked on suspension, Why is that the mounts go bad after installing new shocks. Im having the biggest problem with them. they rattle like hell. They were good before, but after the installation and reusing the mounts they are going crazy, Its not anything else i dont think. who gone through this before ? boRXis
I replaced my struts about 4K mi ago using old mounts and so far so good - no any noise, are you sure mounts are bad? Check sway bar links and bushings - they could make noise often. And how soon it starts to make noise after you installed new shocks? I'm asking because if you didn't put strutrod properly into the mount(only one position) it could look tight when you assembled the strut but it gonna get loose after driving couple of days and make a terrible noise. SKperformance
Sounds like the hats have not been aligned properly or been lubed as well.
