Great Dealer Experience!

Recommended Posts

If anyone is from Pennsylvania and is familiar with the surrounding Philadelphia area, Thompson Lexus blew my soxs off!! Before I bought my baby, every dealer I ever dealt with that was not a lexus dealer was an "a - hole". I am sure most of you guys have horror stories like me. Some of the mechanics were down right rotten. They would talk to you as if there were this sign above your head that said " Take Me For All I Am Worth" I see it pink neon....blinkity blink.... :D

Anyhoo, all I needed was my dome light bulb to be replaced in my 1994 ES300. I drove to the dealer and the first thing that blew me away was that they have a "free" valet service. Yea....

If that wasn't enough, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I needed help. The conversation lasted about an hour with the desk man / tech guy. Basically, a technician was called to the desk and he came in about thirty seconds! Yea.... Here's the thing, he already had the replacement bulb in his hand and my car parked out front so I am able to watch the whole thing and learn so next time I can do it myself! Yea..... Not only did he install the replacement bulb light, but he also adjusted my tire pressure, washed / waxed my car, and shampoo the interior. Keep in mind that all of this was, what did they call it,....... COMPLIMENTARY In other words, the greatest word in the English language....FREE I had a great experience there and I did not know such a place existed!? Does anyone else have a comment?

that is nothing. i went to Bob Rohrman's Lexus in Palatine, IL to get another transponder key for my 96 es300 and the service was great. as soon as i got out of my car a man came over and asked me if i need help. but that is just the beginning. i went in and the prices were sooo cheap. a brand new transponder key for only $150 from the dealer. i even decided to get wheel locks as i didnt have any and they were only $20. after dat they tried to get it to work on my car but they couldnt get it. they told me that i would have to come in again in da morning to let the specailist see it but the problem was that i have school. i was dissapointed but they gave me a loaner. yes thats right a loaner at no charge. it was a rx330. boy that car was awesum. the next day i went back and they had my car ready to go. when i sat i relized some things were different. before i took it in i had tire marks on the back seat from the old owner. he was probably transporting wheels and they screwed up the seats. it tired to get it off but it just woulnt come off. i ask the dealer how much it would cost to get them off when i bought the car and it was $200. when i got in the marks were almost invisible but u could still see them a little but they did it for free. i also saw that they had waxed my car and vacuumed it. and while i was there the first time, they gave me pop, cookies, and a slice of cake. now is that awesum or wat.
