Mungrin
Decided to take out my headlights and clean them out to get rid of fogging and condensation. As soo as i was done and put them back togther and put them in my car they instantly fogged up and its not raining or anything.I gues i will have to buy new headlights after all. What a bummer. dcfish
Make sure the seals around the lens is tight and drill 2-3 small holes 1/8th inch in the bottom and top of the assembly where they can not be seen and keep the lights on to disperse the condensation , this should CLEAR THINGS UP . Zigzag
I tried the drilling solution, didn't work for long. Finally I attached rubber tubing (windshild washer type) to the drains( leave the vent alone) on each headlamp then routed it into the air inake box. bobsvilla
I tried the "reseal", didn't work for me either. I think I'll try Zigzag's method, the vacuum coming from the air box will lower the air pressure inside the headlite and should cause the moisture to evaporate. .....bob
