Lexusboy04 Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 All my fuses are ok, all my all sensors seem to be fine. Is it possible for the cooling fan to go out! I hear that these fans rarely go out becuase they are hydraulic. I am really stumped on this. I have new water pump, therm stat, temp sensor. Would it be crazy for me to take the fan apart and peek inside for problems! Any advice on this matter would greatly be appreciated. :(
itmdtr Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Do you know where the test connector is under the hood? Jumper OP1 to E1 with the engine running and see if the fans spins at high speed. Also I had a car come in with the fan not running and it turns out the cooling fan ECU (behind the glove compartment) was unplugged.
SKperformance Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 If the fan is hydralic how will it spin with the engine off?
