tundra-lover Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 I wanted to buy the Eibach 1" lowering springs (front only) for my 97', but I'm concerned that they won't work with my snow tires 215/65/15? Nobody around town seems to know anything about lowering Lexus/Toyota cars? I don't really want to put the money into it if I just have to pull them off again. Anybody have any ideas?
HoeBag Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 i have a 1.75in drop on 245/35/19,275/35/19... im sure you can fit 215's on a 1inch drop, but it really depends on the offset
tundra-lover Posted June 24, 2004 Author Posted June 24, 2004 Its on the stock Lexus rim for a 97- the five spoke style, maybe 7" wide. The 215/65 looks kind of tall? My summer tires are a 225/55/16, and you can measure about 1" higher in the front, and I like the way the back sits now.
SKperformance Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 you could use 235 and they would still work fine on the stock 15" wheels
