Guage Brake Light Goes On When I Brake

Hey guys I'm just wondering if anyone could help me out. My brake light on the guage cluster glows when ever i push the brakes slightly harder than usual. My brakes aren't squealing, and I replaced them about a few months back. They should be fine still. I'm just getting tired of seeing it light up everytime I'm about to stop. I had to remove the squeal pad (thing metal plate between the pad and caliper) because it was mangled. Help me out please! Thanks!

check your fluid level

otherwise check if your parking brake is fully released

same problem same scenario it seems that the fluid should be topped off it may look full but you must top it off

Sure its not the Brake light. Check to make sure

all the bulbs are good.
