Hello, I just purchased the 2024 RX 350 gas version. The option to disable the "Driver Break Suggestion" doesn't save. I can toggle it off but it turns itself back on engine next start. Other options seem to be saved fine. I'm logged in my profile. Does anyone know why the "Driver Break Suggestion" turns itself back after engine stops/restarts? Thank you!

i have a 2002 lexus gs300 ive changed the accerelrator pedal senser ive changed the mass airflow senser ive changed the throttle body senser but it seems everytime i press the gas pedal its all the way to the floor

My understanding is that there is after the trial subscription time is over. The Lexus app will tell you when your subscription expires for each type of subscription.

The answer is, never buy another Lexus and tell everyone you can. I also was a Lexus fan until I had an oil leak in a cylinder where the whole engine had to be removed. They stuck me with a large fee and had the attitude that they did me a favor by discounting amount. Then the service lady said she didn’t build the car. Like I did? 80 thousand miles should never made this happen. Never again will a Lexus be in my garage.

I had a car once that did the same thing. Turns out I was hanging the FOB right next to the garage door where the car was parked. A mechanic told me that it was too close to the car and that this would run the FOB battery down. I placed the key in my bedroom and the battery worked fine. Good luck in finding your problem.

Some auto parts stores will make a line for you if you take the old one they can use as a sample. If not, do a search for a hydraulic repair shop. They make lines for all kind s of heavy duty machinery and may be able to make yours.

A 12V battery that is not good makes the computer malfunction which could explain most or all of your problems. But Lexus could also be right. Fuel consume high? Heavy car. 20 mpg. The tiny CT we have has better mileage when in NORMAL and not driving in ECO. But 7 liter each 100 km (33.6 mpg) far from what first expected. Almost twice of what Lexus promised, but all car factories are bending the truth when it comes to selling cars.

1800 miles and 6 weeks into our TX 500h, after short stop to buy groceries the TX would not shift out of park. The IC engine started, but the dash gave malfunction warnings pictured below, instructing us to visit our dealer. We had it towed to the dealer. It took the tow truck driver approximately 30 minutes to get the vehicle into neutral. Two days later the dealer explained that the “oscillator” needed to be replaced, but that the part was “back ordered” and will be delivered in 18 days. We have also been getting pitiful gas mileage(less than 300 miles on 15 gallon premium gas fill ups(less than 20 mpg)) despite running on eco mode and keeping the recommended 38 psi cold tire pressures. The dealer has not explained how replacing the “oscillator” will remedy the above issues. Has anyone had similar problems with a Lexus hybrid?

Just bought some black ones off Carpetimats on eBay that have white SC430 stitching on them and they were not bad at all for the price. Under $100 and made in Yugoslavia or similar eastern block country that have some laser cutting machine.

Ours started leaking after about 17 years. At 19 years of age our RX has not shown any other leaks.

Oil leak appears to come from top of engine,valve covers Lexus 2000 ls400 engine 4.0

According to Broc's post above, the axle flanges are larger on the units with LSD, though specific numbers aren't provided. I can measure the flanges when I get home, I just picked up 3 more LSD's last weekend 😁 So if you have a torsen LSD diff, you need to replace it with one, or replace the associated parts as well if you're switching to non-LSD. If you don't have LSD, you're fine to swap with another non-LSD A dealer should be able to tell you what you have based on your vin. Or you can pop the drain plug and stick a bore scope up there, there are cheap ones available nowadays. If you end up needing an LSD diff, or want to upgrade to one, send me a message, I have found over 15 now

Late to the thread, but this is the closest I have come to finding good information on the subject, so any help would be extremely appreciated. I bought my 2000 RX300 a few weeks ago, and managed to run the rear end dry (not a huge leak, so obviously been very low for a long time). I only put a few hundred miles on it before the vehicle began to drive really strangely, the back end "stepping out" and wandering around and such. I've decided to replace it. Could anyone tell me if a 1999-2000 rear end could be replaced with a 2001-2003 part? I'm finding them with the same ratio, but worried there are differences in the case or axles? I haven't taken the cover off yet, so unsure if it's one of these mythical posi units or not.

Will an armrest cover for a 2003 lexus rx300 fit a 2000 rx300?

nothing that i no of , i have adjusted my front to rear the best it can be , the rear speakers are to small , even with the fader set 3 clicks to the rear , just a poor system ,

I have the same problem. When I go to the screen to adjust the front rear fade, it is greyed out and cannot be adjusted. Do I need to turn something else off to gain this function?

Has anyone tried this without emptying all the coolant out, just the radiator? I don't have the best ramps to get underneath the engine to drain the spigots by the O2 sensors.
