The power mirror ecu is the likely culprit. I'm trying to attach a photo I found online. I found mine on ebay. That's why I've yet to actually change mine. You can reach it and it's harness from below (that's how I was able to test the replacement) but not the screws that hold it. With your head on the floor near the brake pedal & looking up, the module is to the left of the steering column. If I remember it all correctly. There should be a thread here somewhere.

I agree with SKperformance. I had remote start w/alarm installed in my 2001 RX about 2 years ago & haven't had any problems. The Heat/ Air Conditioning comes on in whatever mode I leave it in when I shut the car off.

In many cases the deductible on glass is $100 compared th the $500 -$1000 or whatever you've chosen as your comprehensive deductible. Many windshields can be repaired depending on the size & location of the crack. The OEM windshield for my 01' RX (no nav or rain sensors) was about $1000 from Lexus. It took a few conversations to get my insurance company to step up to cover the Lexus glass.

I've had the same issue with my 93 SC300 (260,000 miles). Turned out the coolant level was low. If everything else is working, it could be that simple

The ES300 changer sounds like a great option. What year ES300 has a changer that is compatible with my 93 SC300? It has the stock Pioneer system.

I know this is an older thread. I went with 235/45HR17 Bridgestone Potenza G 009 (High Performance All-Season $131) from TireRack.com. I needed a reaonably priced, capable, all season tire with good wet traction & decent handling. They handle well. They're not quite as sticky as the Dunlop SP Sport 5000's I had before. But, they're all season & come with a 50,000 mile treadlife warranty. They also ride 10x better than Khumo tires I ran previously. 93 SC300 with 17" IS300 wheels

I've never used anything less than 93 in my 93 SC300. It's a 5spd with 255k miles on it. What sounded like pinging during acceleration turned out to be an exaust leak. The first pipe coming off of the manifold rusted. The part was around $250. Not the V-8. But, worth looking at. Hopefully, it's just the gas.

I had a similar experience. In my case, it had absolutely nothing to do with alignment or suspension. It was my tires. 16" Dunlop SP Sport 5000's- no problem. 18" Nankang NSII- no problem. 17" Khumo- The car was all over the road. It wanted to follow every rut , line and dip. Even the slighest change in road surface forced a fight between me & the steering wheel. I recently switched to a 17" Bridgestone Potenza G009 (Tire Rack) - No problems since. I think the problem was do to stiffer sidewalls on the Khumo tires. With the new Bridgestones, I compromised on speed rating in order to get a 50k mile all season tire. southernsc300- Do you know which year Supra has control arms to fit? I have a 93 SC300. I usually get part #'s from Lexus & go to Toyota to save a few bucks. In the case of the control arms, Toyota doesn't have a matching part #. Any suggestions?
