  1. first off, a turbo of that size is barely gonna do anything for ya. take into consideration of the cars weight and the turbos peak hp. 320 is nothing and everyone above is right. the cost of parting a kit together would be almost as much as a kit with a larger turbo. plus a 98 wrx, i garuantee it has shaft play or oil leaks.
  2. I would definately recommend ebc's green stuff. But, if you want the best from your pads and have the money for them, rebestos (sp?) makes several different lines of pads, and work excellent. not sure on the spelling, but if you go to any parts store and ask about them, they'll know what you're talking about. Any parts store should also have catalogs from the manufacturers. But do stay away from autozones and places like them. Stick with the pop shops, they'll know everything you need to.
  3. Plus, you might find more help in the Rx forum.................. :whistles:
  4. For a sc or rx? Plus, if it's custom, it hasn't been made yet.
  5. Yeah man, those rims are pretty sweet. They definately compliment the color.
  6. No wonder man. Don't ever disconnect while running. First off, you could get your !Removed! fried or really hurt your alternator. But, it does sound like the alt. If this is the third going on fourth, I would look inot a full electrical diagnostic. If you have a multi meter(screw the volt) and can read the wiring, you'll save on a lot of money.
  7. I also wonder about the 300. Doubt it changes much of anything in a 5 speed though.
  8. Alright, thats good news. Cause I don't think I could pass up the 5 speed anyway.
  9. Hey guys, I'm new to the forum if ya couldn't tell. Had a question regarding the life expectancy of a stock 2jz ge. There is a 92 5 speed sc300 near me that I want to pick up, but it has nearly 150k miles on the odometer. Is this too much to even concider? I know to look for the normal problems, but is there anything major that has happened to any of you with higher milage?
