  1. Oh man, she ruined your leather. She set you back about a grand worth of labor, no offense, but I'd collect on that ASAP !
  2. I have some advice. This is a deal, barring any unforeseen disclosures. However, these cars were designed for the " upper crust " of the car world and with that comes some pricey fixes. Your not gonna stroll into a Lexus dealer and get the " hook up. " Every time you leave there it will be 1000k plus, in fixes. Also, what are you going to use the car for ? Hopefully you load it full of honey's and roll to the club with it. Otherwise, you are wasting your time !
  3. Damn, is our economy sunken to an all new low ? How in the hell can you buy a car that retailed somewhere in the 50k range for this price ?
  4. I have 81,000 on a '98 and lovin' it ! The only thing I have had to repair is the Starter !
  5. God damn bro, that is some seriously technical know-how. Are you a mechanic ? Also good looking out for future people who have this issue !
  6. Thanks for the suggestions. That sounds great. I found out the the wheels are the 20" Alba 580 Force (Perfect) and the tires are the Toyo Proxes S/T 305/50R/20. The tires have about 8,000 miles on them and truck runs smooth and quite at all times. I will post the pics under the for sale thread. I have had the BF AT's on several vehicles and love them. I am off-road quite a bit a these tires perform well in all conditions, on or off road. Do you know if the 285/65/18 will fit? I don't care about the speedometer but I would rather not have any rubbing. Thanks, Quentin It looks better with the new rims on there, gee imagine that !
  7. Dude, you killed your radio. I just had the same thing happen to my 96', Toyota, Tacoma. Left the window down and had a ton of water come in and kill my Sony, CD player. You might want to think about making and insurance claim on that. I'm sure the repair, is more than your deductible !
  8. If you are mechanically inclined enough to change your own transmission fluid I'm sure you can tinker around with the running board and figure out what is wrong with it. It could be as simple as a fuse or disconnected wire. And if it makes you feel better my 98 wasn’t even available with running board lights. This forum is awesome. I'm glad i found it. I have a 98', with 82,000 and it makes me feel like a king everytime I drive it. Powerful, luxurious, and good looking !
  9. It just started NOT working in both modes, just recently. It will not lock, or unlock. It's really weird !
  10. I own a 1998 LX470, with 81,000. The remote that controls the door locks just started acting up recently. I took it apart and changed the batteries and it is still acting up. Any suggestions ?
  11. I agree with this statement. I have run Regular vs Premium and have noticed NO difference ! Thar because you are a driver and not an engine. You're right, I am the driver and my engine told me there was no difference !
