ATTN Florida Lexus owners, here is a decent reason to get together and show for this years Charity meet held by my local club www.Brevardmotorsports.org and is benefitting the Central Forida chapter of the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society (blood cancer and related diseases). The date is set for August 16th which is a Saturday. It is to be held at the Melbourne Square mall on Hghwy 192.The fun begins at 4:00pm and ends at 10:00. We figured since it's summer it'd be better to have a night show so as to be a tad cooler for all to enjoy. The itinerary includes a show portion (with trophies), music (we have a DJ so far, but are trying to snag a local band as well), and most importantly a MOBILE DYNO is going to join us this year. Our friends at Breathless Performance are going to come up for the day for those of you wanting to know what kinda ponies you're puttin to the pavement. Prices are as follows ('member guys...CHARITY) Show(which we suggest most do..you don't have to have your car judged): $15 Dyno: $20 for one pull/$35 for two Walk around, ect: $3.00 Now that is all I have for now. I'll be posting the flyer with all the local sponsers soon. Last years show raised over $3500 for the Candlelighters of Brevard, but this year we're planning on making some serious money for this worthwhile charity. I just wanted to let all you guys know this is happening and wanted to get a feel for those who might be interested in attending. We would love for as many of you guys to show as possible. This is for a great cause and we hope to outdo last years show triple time. It's not that far of a drive for most you guys in O-town, G'ville, Tampa,ect...... well my covers r painted, and the body shop used the paint that was used 2 paint the car and kit. and it has held up fine, those covers don't get as hot as u think... , its been 5 months already and no problems heres a pic

do u mean the covers in the engine?

this is a much lighter tint than the rx tint, u can c in no problem , thats how i like it too, real light . most shops that do all types of tint will know the difference between mirror and plastic... good luck in u'r search :D

hey bluelex, what kind of tint are those? it does look like it has a lil reflection to it!!!! i'm looking for similar tint almost like the 1's on the rx300's like a miror but not silver!!!!! well the one from the rx300 is much thicker tint mayb 35% mirror , mine is called plastic which is different from mirrior cus it doesn't give such a reflection like mirror, i did 50% 2 keep it nice and light cus anything darker would look like mirror... i hope this helps..

i would go with the gs cus it has enough power yet a lovely style with many mods availble. the ls is nice but already a new body style 4 that model is out. and not 4 the gs. good luck

i agree with the other members, not needed and not worth the money imo.. just get quality gas,oil and filters and u'll b fine..

u could also check tirerack.com they have slotted only and cross/slotted or just oem replacements...

yes they r stickers, i messed up a little 1st time i tried it but been lazy 2 remove or replace them, but i will sooner or later, this is the best pic i could find, but there r more in the gallery like they said, i got them fom lextasy.com.or lexusgrill.com same guy...

well welcome 2 the club, i always do tint 1st, easy and not too xpensive 2 achieve... exhuast is spmething good to begin with also, than save 4 wheels and and suspension later... good luck

its not that xpensive unless u go with a big brake kit. just replave the rotots and new brakes while u'r at it, i got my crossdrilled / slotted rotors and new axis brakes and they work real nice but their r many brands that aern't that xpensive. try tirerack.com or irotors.com that where i got mine. good luck

ya all 2001 and up have a green hue tint 2 them even the rx have the same.....

i have 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear with a drop of like 2 may 2.5 inches and no rubbing issued here. but ya it will depend on the roads where u live , i lived in n.j. 4 a long time and the roads were horrible. but down here the roads r nice and level. but as far as fitment yes . but if u get a good quality wheel it will help against the bad roads a little.

well i redid my engine again, i had tha weapon-r intake 4 a while and it wasn't bad but just drove the srt and its stands alone on top.. wow i had 2 do some modifications cus the srt pipe come with only red fittings and filter and a silver coated pipe. so i took the intake and heatshield 2 get chromed and chromed the rmm strut while i was at it. the shop even chromed the tip of the bolts and lugs for the bolt 4 the strut bar. i found some blue fittings that fit on the pipe and had 2 coustom paint the filter myself( took many coats and time). i also painted the yellow top battery blue 2 match the engine bay. came out real clean here r some pics . what do u guys think?

well i didn't do it my self cus my car didn't with the pinstripe but i read where others used a clue remover and gently did a section at a time.. hope this helps a little..

theris a show this weekend in orlando , and one later this month i think in miami or mayb maimi is next month, we could mayb hook up or meet at one of those shows a lot of florida members willl b there

i'm sure what i'm doing as far as highway 2 local ratio , but i'm mostly local and get 340 miles per tank and thats dragging 20's..
