  19. hi since ive had my es300 which is about 7 months my moonroof hasnt worked when i bought it from the previous owner he told me it was the belt that needs replacing.he has 2 drill bits diagonally wedged on the inside. now if these bits are removed the moonroof glass will sink in completely and will leave a space you can see from the top outside.does this sound more of an off-track type of problem??either way has anyone else had this sinking problem??im not that good with electrical stuff and really dont want to remove my headliner.where could i bring it to get looked at??and how much would it cost to fix?would it be an expensive fix? i love my moonroof option and really wish it worked.

  21. i had the same problem when i bought my es300 the dope cut out the factory amp and screw everything up.i just recently fixed it when i found a diagram of the factory amp harness. the harness is numbered 1-7 on the top row and 8-16 on the bottom row. number 4 : rear left speaker + number 11:rear left speaker - number 3 :rear right + number 10:rear right - number 6 :left door speaker + number 15: left door speaker - number 5: right door speaker + number 14 : right door speaker - id id this with my aftermarket (panasonic cd mp3 wma head unit) and now all my speakers work fine. just hard wire from the back of your radio wires to the amp wires under the passenger seat. hope this helps let me know.
  22. hello to all the experts i have a kind of odd question and dont know where to post it so ill take a shot here.i sometimes pruchase electronic items such as car stereos cd dvd players and want to test them before selling them to anyone.just want to test the power functions and such.meaning hooking up the power and ground wires to get the unit to light up.not sure exactly what i can purchase to get this to happen.i was looking at a rayovac 12 volt battery with screw terminals someone told me this would probally work but not sure. the stereos i purchase usually say 12v on the top sticker.would this work for what im trying to do to test them?? heres an example of what i mean: http://cgi.ebay.com/12-volt-Lantern-Batter...id=p3286.c0.m14 please everyone any and all help would be greatly appreciated thank you
  23. hi another mobile video question for the experts.ok i bought my es300 with no radio in it.the previous owner had some type of system in it subs amps all that.when i bought an aftermarket radio and tried to hook it up the speakers werent working so i took a look under the passenger seat and realized the dope cut out the factory amp he snipped all the wires and taped them off.i had to hard-wire the speakers to the radios harness wires which is fine but i couldnt hook the door speakers up since i couldnt run the wires through the doors to connect. now my question is would it be possible for me to purchase a factory es300 amp and rewire the amp to the car and then will i be able to listen through all my speakers.he has some pretty nice component speakers in the doors.but i cant use them as of right now.please any and all help would be great guys thank you
  24. congrats on your new es300 its a great car and i believe the factory amp is located underneath the front passenger seat.
