not sure im sure one of the sensors are bad my brakes feel pretty good tho.the throttle body cleaning sounds interesting and id like to do a tune up,only problem is i dont trust many mechanics and im not that mechanically inclined. and the tranny drain and fill i made sure to say not a complete flush just a simple drain and fill of the fluid and the guy told me they dont recommend that blah blah.but id like to change the fluids but now im scared to dont want to mess anything up.

i did my rear brakes,took off the gross aftermarket chrome rims that were on them.i want to do a simple tranny drain and fill but firestone told me not to do it since im not positive when the last owner did this change and it could damage the tranny.how much would a throttle body cleaning cost? and if cel on the dash means dash lights lit up,just my abs light is on.id also like to do a tune up(plugs and wires at least)

hi everyone i have a audio/video question.i recently bought a cd/dvd unit with a 3.6 inch lcd screen.now i know theres a way to bypass the whole only watching movies in park thing.which i believe is very smart.just dont want that function. the screen is a little too small for me to watch anything anyway.but id like to bypass this,ive heard something about grounding the brake wire on the harness.can anyone help me with your expertise on exactly how to do this.if its complicated i wont even bother.please help thank you

the fuel cleaner i use regular gas should i use the synthetic fuel cleaner? or does it matter?

hi kind of a random open question here.my 93 es300 runs pretty well but not great.i feel like i dont have as much power as i should from my v6.my question is what over the counter products can i use to just give me some good outcomes such as fuel injection cleaner,gas treatments things like this.ive heard of bg fuel injection cleaner works pretty well.any other products you guys can help me with that can help my baby a little.thanxx

i heard about macguires too but i found the bluemagic first so i tried it and im very happy with it even if i have to do it occasionally over and over it took me about 5-10 minutes and they came out friggen wonderful

here are my results my headlights look brand new im very happy with the product cost me $6 at kmart haha

ok i just used this stuff about 5 minutes ago and dummy me should of taken before pictures.my headlights werent that bad at all just minor hazing.but not bad at all but WOW!!! that stuff really worked they look almost new.much much clearer than they were before.i will post pics of the results maybe tommorow or later today.thank you so much guys for all of your expertise its much appreciated thanxxx

OK blk i got the bluemagic at kmart for about $6 the directions are a little simple i was wondering how you did it that it worked so well.any tricks??let me know id love to hear some input thanxx

geroge the mothers mag cleaner is that just a polish type liquid ??or do i need the powerball thingy to polish it??

ok guys heres a interior lighting question.ive seen some led bulbs on ebay for sale that changes the interior lighting such as the dome light and light in the middle of the headliner.ive seen them in red blue and hyper white.only problem is now i cant find them anywhere.has anyone ever did this simple mod?and if so where do they purchase the bulbs.any and all help is greatly appreciated thank you

hi id much rather post here since i ask questions on club lexus and dont get any repsonses.i have a simple question for the experts.i have a 93 es300 my headlights arent bad at all compared to ones ive seen.but there still a little foggy.i can live with them but ive seen and heard of some people whove bought some products that make a diffrence.im not into the whole baking and opening up my headlights.i know it works the ebst but id still rather not mess with it.has anyone bought or used anything that works good??id like to maybe make them a little more clear.any and all suggestions or advice is much appreciated thank you

hi guys i need a battery mount or tie down for my 93 es300 for some reason the previous owner had one on and now i dont think its connected on one side not sure why not id have to really get in and look but wondering if anyone has one handy for sale let me know thank you

yes sra thank you for responding it was fixed it was a head gasket problem cost about $1000 to fix for a new head which i told her not to do ,but she loves her car and did it anyway

what parts do you need??besides motor and trans i can certainly locate some parts if you need them for cheap,im in pa let me know asap

i know the tails are a little diffrent tint like not as all red as mine just curious if it would look alot diffrent

did you buy 17 inch oem lexus rims??or some type of aftermarket 17 inch rims?

hi troops i have a pretty simple question.when i bought my es300 the previous owner had big ugly bulky heavy chrome aftermarket rims on the car.i knew i had to get them off asap to avoid damage to my suspension,axles,tie rods. i put on 15 inch 97-01 es300 factory oem rims and i like them alot.my question is if i decided eventually to upgrade maybe to 16's or 17's oem like is300 rims.do they weigh more then my 15's??would they cause damage like heavy aftermarket rims would??or would they be safe and not cause any damage to my car.any and all help is much appreciated

did they start with the daytime running light option after 93??cause i have a 93 and i dont think i have daytime running lights

yes i know the dexron III fluid but i mean what brand is best??mobil 1 i heard is good,id just like to know what is the best to use cause im not sure when or how often the previous owner changed the fluid.
