A sway bar bushing is a small dounnut that holds the bar to the frame of the car. The inner or hole can get out of shape and cause the bar to sag by having too much play in it. You basically need better technitions who will show you everything they think needs to be fixed first.

If it goes into limp mode it can shut the tranny down but usualyl only if it is a tranny related code not an engine code. WOW $300 are you sure he did not just replace one cat and clean the plugged one further down?

It is illegal for any gas system to vent into open air that is why you have charcoal canisters. So a line used by another drain is a lie. Most problems with back spray is from the type of pump used and the angle the pump is held. Not all gas stations are the same and some will cause the pump to keep shutting off or spraying back by the angle of the pump nozzel.

This is a list for totalled vehicles. It will not include all Lexus in the world or the states for that matter. It will have some basic vehicle details so you can look for the car you are interested in just in case. If you have had a major accident , flood , fire ,theft or any other reason where the insurance company has written off the car please list the details . If you go to buy a car and find it had a major structural damaging accident you can also post it here with details from carfax or other expert source. What i want from the owner or potential owner who checked out the car is. Year make colour reason for listing any accidents it had mileage State/province it is located. I do not want a 300 page thread so only post if you have a car to add otherwise just read it. After you post i will conform it into a collective info page then delete your post as no one want to sift through 200 pages of Vin #s thanks it will be appreciated by many for years to come.

Yes the battery should always be fuilly charged before installation. 1 . it has to start the car 2. The alternator is not for charging a dead battery, it can do it but it is not designed to be a battery charger but a system voltage producer. Sounds similar but it is not.

What do you mean by one uses PS and the other uses tranny The one and the other what???? It should be the same red fluid from yoru tranny as your ps pump.

were did you get the battery you replaced it with? Was it charged before install?

Here are the details on there site After some deliberation between some of club members, around some wings and beer, we decided to take the C7 fall event cancellation matter as a starting point for our own event….. We had two options… 1. C7 route with the ending point at Hockley valley resort. 2. our own brand new route (still in works…) ending at Bonfire BBQ Chicken and Ribs first option fell between the cracks relatively fast because we still do not know what went wrong with the C7 event and I did not get an enthusiastic response from the resort….. Second one won…. The people from Bonfire are sort of car buffs themselves (every Thursdays during the summer they have classic cars in their parking lot) and it was no problem for us to select them as an end point…. Now maybe a lot of you have the question… where the heck is this place….? …the place is at the intersection of highways 7 & 35….just south of…. drum roll….Lindsay…. If there are still some of you that do not know where Lindsay is…. Hmmm… take a look on the map towards Peterborough….. We decided for an east end cruise also as a small token of appreciation for the entire eastenders members who came in the past to cruises organized in the west end… (and they were a lot of them….) Now, as I mentioned a little bit before, the route is still in making… and I’ll go on it just to make sure that is at a high standard as it is expected… I did not decided yet about the starting point…. I was thinking around 404 and Bloomington Rd (Aurora area)…. But I’m open for suggestions…. The meeting to be set at 10:30AM with a departure at 11:00AM…. The cruise will be for 1 to 1 and half hours….and about 100 km… I need to stipulate that this is not a race… and is open to everybody….. bring friends, enemies, wives, girlfriends, mistresses, kids, dogs…. When the car is running it always uses power from the alternator ,the battery is only used for starting and residule power when the engien is off. Other than that it is just being charged when the car is running. If the light comes off it means the batteyr has some problems with the lead cells causing too much resistance.

Getting the right mix of both the epoxy resin and colour is hard as people i have know tried half and galf and the colours always come out different than they are suposed to.

All cats do not go at once unless you have a really bad fuel dumping problem to feed both sides. Also a cat is always murdered it never dies of old age. So you have a problem that needs to be rectified or it will murder the new cats as well. If you want drop me a line when you come to Toronto as i am here.

Well you know half the problem. Now you need to trace the wirring to see if it is even leaving the ignition switch. Or wire a push button start with a relay like alot of newer cars.
