Hey everyone, I need to find out which fuel line is which. I know where the two are, and there purposed, just need to find out which one goes to which. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and preferably a picture included.

Hey everyone i was wondering if i could use a power steering pump from a ES 300 and be able to successfully put it in my sc400? If anyone has any input feel free to leave it and thanks!

Whats up everybody, i was wondering if any of the sc400 owners have done their own exhaust before? im wantin to increase the size to 2.5" and change out the mufflers. My friend and I both know how to weld and he has a welding gun as well as ramps. Any input on cost saving, sound quality, and overall difficulty would be appreciated. Thanks fellow lexus owners

Hey everyone, i just bought some blue LED lights to go under my glove box and another to go under the compartment by my pedals...Instead of it looking any tackier, im tryin to fuse it together with my lights switch, so they only come on when i use my lights, and that way the cords arent all showing, can anyone help me by givin me some input on where that particular fuse is located? i know you have to cut off the wires at the end by the cigarette lighter adapter an attach them to the fuse, tahts about it lol any help would be appreciated.

There is a set time limit... You have to be at a complete stop for 3 seconds...sounds rediculous but thats coming from pigs themselves... and your better of paying the ticket an taking your loses...going to court an taking the chance of him not showin up is worse then jsut payin the ticket, an takin a D.I.C. if you take it to court and try and fight it an the cop is there, judges 99 percent of the time will believe an officer over you, so then your faced with automatically getting points on your license, insurance increased, and having to pay the ticket and court costs...and possibly more sometimes including suspendid license

You cant get any cheaper keys or other keys, its so expensive, because the lexus keys use a specific computer code that connects into the lexus computer....which all would have to be replaced, hence y its so expensive, ive looked into it and that was what i was told.

Yes, win the lottery before you go about doing this, its dam near impossible to do it, unless you want to basically rebuild n repurchase everything under the hood, and did i mention winning the lottery?

No problem, but for *BLEEP*s n giggles, take it to a dealership n they should look at it for free, an be able to give you a quote, even though its something electronical and should be remotely easy to fix.

Hey, I need new tires asap, as i have close to around 5-10 percent of tread left on mine. I was looking at these firestones firehawks gt tires and they seem to be the performance tires i need, with the good traction control, but for 115 a piece. Any body have any suggestions on better tires, or will these be good for my sc400?

Its nothing to worry about, mine came on when my tires spun in the rain, and didnt go out, and my car still runs good, it stayed on, but i had to have my ecm replaced an it shut off then, but that was a complete different problem. so as far as it being something to worry about, not anything big, but turning it off, lexus dealership might be able to help you out, for cheap.

Appreciate your reply, and will defiantly start doing these things, which ever helps and wont deplete my bank, im all for doing big things but untill i get done with school, which shouldnt be much longer i have to stick to the small things, but for most of the heavy mods, im lookin at 5 figures or more though right?

Hey everybody, I've had my 94 sc400 for about 4 months now, and love it. I would like to mod it so it goes a lil bit faster, but have got school and money is kind of tight. Any small mods that can make a noticeable difference for the car, and not just in my wallet?

Recently about a month ago, a week after i bought ma car, It stalled on me before i even drove it home. They dealership took a look at it and didnt find anything wrong, so gave it back and same thing happened. They checked the fuel pumps and said they were clogged and said they replaced them, which they didnt by the way. But whatever they DID do, it stopped for about a month. I was leaving work Friday and all of a sudden it stalls again! 5 times before i could even get onto a road it had stalled. So i decide the dealership didnt do anything, so ill take it to the nearest Lexus dealership. Reluctantly i got my car there without crashing and they said theyd find the problem. They did and said it was the ECM and that the chip needed to be replaced. Thinking a retail dealership would try and scam me, i called around other places to check with prices, and the chip cost 1000 and labor was 200. Not bad and had it done, and since then its been runnning perfectly with nothin wrong. So for everyone that has this problem, next time you take it in, make sure they check the ECM(Part of the ECU)

Yeah in florida its not really the best idea to lower your car, so much road work is being done, at least in my area, and how uneven the roads are and such, bad bad idea, but go with 19's bro, will look alot better

Can you better explain what you were doing, and what happened when you were driving @ 70mph? also is the check engine light on, and did you or anyone else work on the car recently. I have not recently had any work done. The power steering pump was replaced about 2000 miles ago. Besides that, the car is a weekend car, and gets driven once or twice a week. When the car quit, I was cruising along on the fwy down a slight incline. When I pressed my gas pedal, nothing happened, and I thought maybe my tranny went bad. I shifted the tranny gears to 2 and N before I realized the engine quit and I did see a light on the dash come on. I had a lot going on at the time, and I think I only saw the "check engine" light come on. I'm not sure if any other lights came on. I was too busy trying to get to the side of the road. The only other thing I can think of is that I just filled up the tank about 25-30 miles before the eng quit. Not sure if it was related. I filled up at Shell. My steering had went out to and i had my foot on the gas and i was going backwards, the mechanics couldnt find anything wrong with it, an jus said it was a faulty fuel gauge, they had it replaced and filled her up and the problem persisted as you have described...you know what you need to have checked, since most mechanics will not think to look at the fuel pumps unfortunately.

I had the same problem althought luckily for me i was going about 25, but my problem was the fuel injector was clogged, i have 102,000 miles on mine. When the fuel pumps were replaced, the car has run fine ever since. Hope this helps, but def take it to a shop an have them check the injector and pumps
