  1. You got it JCROME...!!! Just like me and my Michigan Man TED NUGENT... THe more candle power the better..!!! He likes to burn retina's out at a thousand yards.... He's an off road guy....and likes to be noticed too! Not me really,, Ted is a little extreme.. I like to keep it a little more low key.. But I will get noticed..
  2. I have not tried it yet, but I heard the kit comes with Mr Fusion and a Flux capacitor... Sorry but I think that is a scam as I am sure it takes more than a $50 kit to produce enough Hydrogen to run your car.. The Theory is good though!!! I was surprised however that I was not able to find much NEGATIVE reviews on this scam...I mean product...
  3. WWEST- Yes, that is true ! I am still going to go with more is better theory..... Ok Ok you busted me.!! I did it out of pure vanity..mid life crisis, I want everyone to notice me and my Lexus and how cool it looks now in the daylight..LOL :D
  4. I absolutely love them and am very happy with the install.. !!! Here in Michigan we drive on alot of highways where there is no light due to the wilderness and there is always high risk of hitting deer that are in the road.. The more light you have....the better! (It makes thier eyes shine & glow so you can see them)
  5. try to retap the drain before buying a new pan.. Many people have done this and it works.. A couple weeks ago my neighbors spark plug blew out and stripped the threads in his Dodge neon.. Retapped it and put an helicoil in and it is holding no problem.. Kit was $30.. http://www.timesert.com/html/drainplug.html good Luck
  6. WWEST, I want the ability to have fog light control with out having to have head lights on.. When driving in Fog or Heavy snow the LEXUS HID's are so bright and white that it makes driving difficult.. I have a set of these PIAA's on my camaro and Durango and it makes a huge difference in driving in these conditions..
  7. I never have to worry about anyone pulling out in front of me as they will always see me coming.. Actually living just off Lake Michigan we have alot of early morning fog and the stock fog lights on the lexus are worthless..
  8. its late and I'll post more pix in the morning.. Looks awesome...Love it... pictures don't do it justice... You can literally drive with the parking and PIAA's only... I have them aimed 5 degrees downward so there is no interference with oncoming traffic... I wired them into the parking lights so they come on with them.. there is also an override switch to turn them off if needed... I decided that there is enough airflow that goes past the PIAA's to cool the brakes.. I will let you know if I made the right decision.. Here are pix of parking and PIAA's only & all lights..
  9. Hello all I am using user(CAPE COD's) photo from the club lexus forum for illustration purposes.. Thanks cape cod. I am installing some PIAA 1400 fog lights in the area indicated on this photo. As i get more into this project I see that these vents appear to be vents for the brakes. Will this cause any problems? I see some WALD kits do not have this vent.
  10. By the way, your battery WILL charge at Idle, it just takes longer. It will charge faster while driving on the road..
  11. Your car is looking for a bluetooth device that was set up.. Go into the Bluetooth device settings and delete the device it is looking for.
  12. Your lexus will have not problem towing that small of a boat. The manual just recommends that you change your Tranny fluid earlier than recommended if you use your lexus to tow.. I think it says to change it every 60K if you are towing.. Double check your trailer wheel bearings for grease.. That is a very common problem here in michigan with people not greasing thier trailers and have a bearing sieze while towing thier boat, especially across country or over mountains (hilly terrain).. You have to remember those tiny wheels are turning alot faster than your LS wheels.. It is funny that it is not the towing that is so hard on the trannys as is the pulling the boat out of the water after use. I see so many people at the lake trying to pull out a 20 foot boat with a midsize car and you can just hear it struggling.. I can speak from experience that it is not good when your tranny goes out when you are pulling your boat out of the water. Everything rolls right back down into the water.... That happened on my Durango a couple years ago.. Some guy in a ford had to pull me and my boat out. I told him thanks and he said "No problem, its not the first time I had to pull a Dodge out of the water..
  13. I was just watching Horsepower TV on Spike TV this morning and they did a dyno test on spark plugs and with no other engine changes other than spark plugs run at the same engine temperatures, the E3 spark plugs produced 5 more horsepower than the other performance plugs.. Plus they burned less fuel.. Anyone running these plugs?
