Thats a good time..i was able to get a 14.997 at 93 but w/ the following mods: truel dual 2.25 w/ xpipe, bfi, took out spare and installed supra seats. I haven't had a chance to run w/ the nitrous yet. What was your sixty foot..my best is 2.1
i also taken my fluid dynamics courses in college (im a mechanical engineer) and there isn't much difference between the passenger grill location and the center opening. He also stated in planet soarer that the main reason they took that location is due to the active suspension components or intercoolers in the way.
Most of the good system are axle back and are not going to give you any real performance gain (they maybe lighter). The stock mufflers are straight thru. If i were you i would do a true dual exhaust using 2.25 piping w/ x-pipe or h-pipe and good straight tru mufflers.
I used the passenger side grill for my ducting. I bought some black flex tubing (like 4" diameter). Found it in the garden section of home depot and bought the 90 degree transition piece ($5). Used some zip ties and radio backstraps to secure it and there you have it. I have driven it on a very rainy day and the filter still is perfectly dry.
The 94-96 es changer kicks a$$. Great unit tha loads ultr fast and hardly ever skips. Best of all plays cd-r's. Throw those 12 disc in the garbage they are terrible. Any one need one i have an extra for sale i bought off PIONEERSUBY. (By the way he is great seller).
I have a bfi, full true dual 2.25 exhaust w/ xpipe and a 80 shot of nitrous. Car performs very well w/ nitrous. The exhaust also helps tremendously as the stock is not a true dual and less than 2" in diameter.
it depends on the kind of roads you drive on but on stock suspension..i would go w/ 18's. W/ lowered suspension 18 and 19's look good. 19's or 20's on stock suspension makes the car look like its a 4x4. Im running 18x9 and 18x10 wheels w/ a 2" drop. Thats the max i would go living in chicago (crappy roads).
I need to tap the fuel regulator on the sc400 fuel rail for my nitrous kit. Can anyone scan me a page from the lexus service manual that describes the fuel rail, injectors and regulators/dampners? I can pay for the pages.
