while i was driving down that hill, i had it in a lower gear so i didn't have the use the brakes much. it's not the first time i went down that hill so this happening was kind of strange. the car does some strange things sometimes...like it had a mind of its own. maybe the car's posessed! haha!

i've never had this happen before, but today, i was driving downhill on a narrow windy road and when i got to the bottom, i realized that it was somewhat hard to stop the car and that there was some smoke coming out of the front tires. it sure smelled like brakes but it couldn't have been because the brakes were just replaced about 2 months ago. what could this mean??

if you can hear that the motor is working and trying to extend the antenna, it could mean that the gear on the bottom inside is stripped (from what i've read about it so far...) all you need to do is buy a new antenna and replace it.

ok, so....my trunk release lever malfunctioned and now i can't open the trunk from the inside of the car. how do i fix it, if there is a way to fix it? lol

the worst car i drove (not owned because it was my parents') was their 1995 protege. used it when i first started driving a while back. blech. it was slow! lexus ftw!

well....i wanted to try to repaint the stock rims on my 400. i know what to do in terms of prepping and things, but i don't know what paint would best match. don't want it to look cheesy either. the stock color is silvery grayish. what do you think i should do? any input would be greatly appreciated! :) thanks! brittni

i have a '90 LS400 which i bought a little over a year ago for $4,000 with ONLY 55K on it!!! it was a two-owner car and i bought it from an elderly woman who wanted to get rid of it because her husband passed away. so far, i replaced the battery, the alternator, and the two rear struts. the leather on the driver's seat it a little beat up in one area, the seat memory buttons don't work, and the a/c isn't working either. not sure what the problem it - might be the compressor. i'm VERY happy with the car! it runs smooth!
