  1. Does anybody get a loud buzzing sound from the center console area? It used to buzz for about 10 seconds and then go away but recently it buzzes for a second or two at a time but never really goes away. I think it has something to do with the A/C because the sound will go away sometimes when I push the A/C button or the recirculation button. I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me identify, or even better, tell me how to get rid of this problem. Thanks in advance!
  2. I recently changed my battery and my car starts up fine but dies after a few minutes with all the lights in the dash still lit. I've had this problem before when my alternator died but I recently replaced it so I don't think that's the problem. Could it be the battery terminals? All help is greatly appreciated. Here's a picture of my the terminal that worries me.
  3. I have an old 1st generation LS400. It recently had some problems with the alternator so I got a new one and it worked for a couple weeks. But after these couple weeks my car won't start anymore and when it does all the lights pop up on the dash. I got a new battery but the car still won't start. Now the radio or anything won't start up. I tried jumping it but the car still has all the precaution lights on the dash. Is this a problem with the battery, connection, or is it the starter? All help would be highly appreciated.
  4. Haven't tried but will once I get the chance and reply. Thanks for the help.
  5. Hi, I am relatively new to this forum and had a question about my car. I have a 1990 Lexus LS400 with about 145,000 miles. Everything seems to be working fine except that there is a clicking noise when I drive at low RPM's. Usually around 1500-2000 RPM's the clicking noise comes from the engine area. Does anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks.
  6. Thanks for the help guys. Really appreciate it.
  7. Has anybody had a problem with their antenna breaking? My recently broke and was wondering if its possible to fix it yourself or if you have to take it into the dealer.
