Are you running an automatic? Looks like it from the dyno. They never hit wot until around 4000 rpm, so anything under that is useless info. But I can't beleive how lean your afr's are!! Looks like the most hp is made around 13-13.5. That might be why your not making quite as much hp as you should be. Your on a Dynopack which usually reads a little lower anyway, but still, I think I have seen some dynopack sheets on the 250 show closer to 165-170 whp. Your torque numbers are not that far off though.

Hmm, again, not an easy diagnostic over the web. "sputtering" is a pretty generic term, and can be caused by alot of different issues ranging from a bad spark plug, bad coil, bad fuel injector seal, air blockage, water in the fuel tank or bad gas, the list could on. I would take it in and have it profesionally diagnosed by mechanic. An ODB II scanner with datalogging and freeze frame can capture the event as it's happening, and they should be able to track the issue down quickly.

You can't reflash the stock ECU. So, you have to either go with a stand alone ECU like Haltech, AEM, etc., but those will run you around $2k, maybe $1500. or you can go with a piggyback that works with the Vvti system, which, in my opinion, the best one on the market is the AEM fic. And yes, you have to have tuning done for FI. The ignition has to be retarded and the A/F mix has to be changed and controlled. To rich and your not gonna make any power, and to lean and the motor goes "POP"!! As far as where to get one, any online turbo store will have them, but if your planning on having a performance shop do the work and tuning, then I would let them deal with that. Most performance shops won't install prepurchased aftermarket parts as it becomes their responsiblity if something goes wrong. Yeah, the turbonetics kit is probably one of the best "street" turbo kits. I wish they would update a few parts though, as there are better components that have come out since they put the kit together, but on the other hand they know the kit they have works, and works well together, why go changing that right? I do strongly advise to skip the Unichip that comes with the kit, and swap in the AEM fic instead, upgrade the fuel injectors to 600 cc or 650 cc, and add a Walbro fuel pump.

Well, considering the Gambella GT is a N/A V10 that cranks out 672 hp, and the car weighs only 2900 lbs. and motors 0-60 in less then 3.5 seconds, I would have to say this car has enouph, but if you wanted more, you could still add a turbo....

And on a sweperate note, the GT-R has some really bad intentions!! On a real world scale, I would buy that car, but if I'm dreaming, I guess I would just dream alot bigger. The GT-R is to attainable, which is great , but takes that "wishfulness" factor away. I think it's funny that everyone is buzzed on the Hyundai Genesis being " Lexus quality on a budget" and how unbeleivable it is if it's true. And Nissan releases the GT-R, a real automotive marvel and exercise in engineering, and they don't have any clue!! LOL!!

Man, everyone has listed some really nice cars! I mean, what a dilemna to be in huh? A million dollars to spend on a car and you can't make up your mind? HAhahahaha!, Like I would ever be in that position!! But still, if you had to choose just one, I think I would be honestly torn between the Porsche, the Veyron, the SSC Ultimate, ( Which just passed the Veyon for the fastest production car title.), and maybe the Ferarri F430. (Although I know this car isn't in the performance scale of the others, it's still a super nice car!! And I agree, the older McClarren F1 is a way nicer car then the Mercedes edition.

Well, all I can tell you is that you get what you pay for. Everytime! A Garret ball bearing T67 turbo alone sells for 900 bucks. I have no idea what turbo they are using, as they only say T61 T4 turbo, what intercooler they are using and all the rest of the stuff. If you go to Turbonetics or SRT, they specifically list brand name, size, and application of each and every component they use. Why? because they have nothing to hide. Go to all the websites or catalogs and take each component and check the price yourself, and you'll see you get a slightly better price and the assurance that the kit is complete and proven. I would be very leary of a "generic" turbo kit. But hey, why don't you get it, put it on your car, and tell us all about it as you do it and your results. I would love to know the outcome. :)

The car is running great. I have almost 5k miles on it now. Looks like I might get an exhaust and headers later. I wanted to see what the dyno sheet looked like first. Plus my dad has been in the hospital. So I've been spending all my time there. He probably only has a few more weeks left. I'm hoping alot longer, but it's not lookin good. They have him on a morphine drip for the pain. So, I'm torn. I want him alive, but not in pain, so I want him to be able to come to an end, but it's so hard. The family and I are trying to have him moved back to the house this week. So he can atleast be at home for awhile. And my wife found no humor in your post by the way. But she was willing to forgive you as she said the 2 pinched nerves must have been in the left hemisphere of your brain and caused you to have some severe dillusions and virtual dimensia. We get the rope looking grill here in the states. It's not bad, but nowhere near as nice as the mesh style. Do your fog lights shine yellow or white? The black out job you did all around is very tastefully done by the way. Not too much. The rims you have really set off the black but balance the chrome nicely!! Are your side view mirrors carbon fiber? or are they black also? I can't quite tell from the pics. I also see you changed to the clear side markers, but what's that on the fender behind the tire? And what are the specific differences between the IS, RS, and AS?
