hmmm ... well tell you the truth .. if you want to seal the power antenna you have to get new antenna or new antenna seal i guess ... but what i did was remove the trunk carpet + side cover and open the antenna motor and put alot silicon by the whole and did the same on top of the car but be very smooth/carefull so make sure no one can notice that silicon is there lol ...

hi recently moved but need to changed the transmission filter .. but the lexus dealer is way far from the place where i live .. can i just take it to the toyota dealer. will the toyota dealer will be able to do it ?

all 3 mounts are brand new replace em at the dealer last month ! be advice that it happen only when i break.. doesnt happen when i break lightly or when the car stop compleatly..by the way when i said jerk ..i didnt meant the car wanna run forward .. what i mean by jerk is that the gear knocb move back and forth like when i break it wanna stop but then let it go . its kinda like how you feel when u drop on a whole and come back flat surface .. umm am i confusing?

guys help me through .. plz ... at first it was due to do the break so i changed the front break .. and right after that i notice .. when i break the gear knocb/shift knocb on my 1991 ls400 jerk. i feel it only when i break .. so i decide to change the back break and i did still have the same problem .. so they told me front routor - ummm today i changed the front routors + break and saw the break edge was kinda eating up ..... ummm and still have the same problem .. -- so what should i do ... change the rear break + rutor again ? or what is the problem plz ? and its only happen if i break hard .. i only feel it at the great knock no where els i dont feel it on my foot neither on stearing or on the car .. so why only grear jerk at breaking hard?

it will run .. but the question is for how long .. i would say dont take the risk of a big repair cuz .. its an old model car .. after while the engine will break down --- WITH Reguler .. rest is up to u!

no check ngine light on but ... when i press the gas paddel i feel it on my foot lil vivration like its hard for the engine to push the air out does it make sense?

what i ment was ..what does Catalytic Converter do to a car performence or gas milage? mine is about 16 years old car ... is it necessery to replace one of em told me passenger side one is no good !

high way or local trafic? i understad as i said .. i took it back to my mechanick they drove and tested which i didnt see and gave me the car and said everything fine with the car lol and charge me for me .. and said bye bye .and now im back again .. if anyone over here can help me by explaining how to troublshot the problem it will be helpful thanks once again

what does converter do to a car? is it necessary to replace em?

every one talking about air control valve.. so where is that air control valve located ????

take it to the dealer or just any mechanic will do .. or is there any way that i can find it out?

first of all i always use "93 octane gas" once i try 87 to test the car. its about 7-10 mile diffrence . 2- i clean the fuelinjection + throttel body and full fuel system at the dealer .. they test the car and told me .. the car drive normal everything is normal and everything working fine .. and my consern is -- temperature stay exactly at the middle.. and the car ideal at 600rpm . so you guys tell me how do i find my self what the roblem .. or how do i know that temperature sensor is bad or not working good--or there is incorrect knocking sensor ??? by the way there is no "check engine" light on wel it never came on ! but i notice something when i stop at the red light and then ready to go so i press gas the car seem like give it a slip and bhommmmm go .. but only on slow acc-- but if i press the gas harder the car fly .. so please help me .. thanks for all of ur great time !

hi . peopel came back with the same problem .. 1991 ls400 about 9-10 mpg on highway+local trafic .. did the best i could took it to dealer .. they clean throttel body fuel enjectorr+system .. Fuel Filter+air filter new .. just improve about 3 mile then before .. but im still getting bad gas mile even after spending some dough !and the mechanic or dealer dont know the problem and avoiding by saying its just normal car & runs perfect -- the car drive smooth and normal .. mechanic cant even tell me whats the problem ! so im here back to you guys tell me what could be problem and issue ! so please tell me what to look for and what could be the problem thanks !

my problem was power antena + trunk sealing is all good now !

why should you change water pump .. with the change of timeing belt .. while the water pump is not gone bad ? seem like u guys got alot of money .. lol .. if it was me then i would wait until its gone bad !!

thank you very much .. the scratch is not on plate .. is on the exactly middle of the plate ..the round metel .which holding the plate ..its work normal however thanks

what happen if ur throttel body plate have lil scratch on it? what does it do .. does it affect its perfomece? explain in detail plz ...after viewing the cooments from here i opend the throttel body and saw 2 scratches on it umm im gonna eat the dealer up ...
