I know this sounds funny but you can try crawling into the trunk with a flashlight have someone you trust to let you out close the lid spray with a hose look for the leak. the trunk seal may be needed or you may find some debris distorting the seal causing the water to pool and leak past the seal. If you are inside you can pinpoint the leak location then look for cause. Good luck Rich umm i got a bad news for my self that i did everything like puting silicon + spray water my self and i couldnt see water going inside the trunk .. n i was so happy cus i thought the problem is over. umm guess what after one rain i saw the water inside the trunk. is there any help or thing i can do cuz seem like there is no way i can trak how the water is getting in?? anyone plz help thanks for all of urs time !!!

I had a little leakage around the right rear of the engine and I got it to stop by tightening the cam cover bolts. Not hard to do... got about a full turn on each of them. No! I did not smash the hell out of them!! They were barely finger tight when I started...so I "snugged" them. I don't know if it was from previous engine work or from the gasket relaxing a little, but I was surprised that they were so loose. It's worth checking. wow thats great the problem is the same spot as urs and the bolts was losen then i tighten it up just like u did after that there is still minor oil leak so how much its gonna cost at dealer but its the same spot and bolts were losen just lika ya thanks !

ummmmmmmm guys need major helpi got 91 ls 400 -- my driver side of the engine is leaking i mean right below where you put engine oil umm .. so can anyne tell me howmuch its gonna cost at dealer and any other way i mean cheap way to fix it cuz im kinda tight on budget now.. anything eh . thanks guys

I have 91 LS400 its seem like every rainy day my trunk get wet.. only the end of it i mean the back bumper side, inside the trunk get wet even the cloth what could be the reson i even look for whole but couldnt find any so what could be the reason ? any idea will help

simple just turn off the recyle button off .. thats all u wont get anyait i think ur main problem is ur fresh air (recyle button) is on let me no if that help

The 91 LS400 have about 144 miles .. when i start the car its make chik chik chik chik noise inside the engine . pluse .. when i warm up the car and press the gas paddel the car make hard shift like bash noise on engine or trani not sure ..its seem like im hurting it to make it run faster lol ... anyway any comments would help ... one more thing is it becuse of fuel filter? or fuel injector? or sperk plug?

hi i want to install remote starter on 91 ls 400 do i need the 2nd key for the instalation to work poperly?

i do get hot air coming through the vent while the car is in motion and while the position of the button is set off for ac and heat. so what could be messed up??

yes the hot air get through the vents eventhough the button is turn off so what is the excellent solutions while i read ur post i found that ur problem is smilier to mine like it only happen when the car is in motion .umm when its park and the engine run i dont notice it but when it runs thats is air start to comes in by the vent .. so tell me what next!!! and what u mean by "is the vent set for fresh or recycled air after the heat buton turn off?" how do i know if the vent is set fresh air after the buton is off i just tryed set off button thats all .. give me a full detail if possible plz thanks !!

are u sure that is the problem // cuz when i turn on the a/c or heater button its work fine .. i mean its turn on and off ... what i mean is the problem is that .. when i drive then engine hit get inside by the vent how do i fix that ? and why the engine hit geats inside when i drive the car . the air doesnt get in when i doont drive the car .. even though the engine is running // does it helps or make it more clear of the problem thanks for ur time buddy !

its come by the vent yes the button if opp i enven press the off button couple of time but the hot air comes only when i drive .. siting the car runing the engine without driving .. its okay .. but driving it makes the hot air come through the vent .. any one help plz !
