  1. I would like to know if anyone knows if the 2013 GS F sport headlights can be replaced with the Hybrid's LED headlamps. I am looking to buy the LED headlamps from Lexus for the 2013 GS Hybrid and hopefully it is an easy swap? any suggestions?
  2. I switched to Michelin Pilot sport A/S and I am very happy. Super traction in all weather and good wear.
  3. Thank you. I just picked my car up and will have to check back with them to make sure they used these pads. How many more miles (avg.) should you expect from these pads. I really appreciate the information Awaysack I drive very aggressively at times and I went through my original high friction pads in 7000 miles. I then switched to the low dust pads and after a 120mph speeding ticket I toned down the driving a bit and I now have 30000 on the car and the same low dust pads. They do not stop the car as well as the high friction pads but the difference is small and they will squeak when stopping but the longevity and cleanliness of the rims is a worthy trade off unless you are hyper critical about performance then stick with the high friction pads. 4. they should be. I would think they better be. steviej Dealer said not covered! Wear and tear part. Cost of part-$117.00!!!!! If you must buy, check out my post in buy/sell. I have 4 new sensors. Anthony
  5. I just replaced my run flats with Michelin pilot sport a/s. What a difference. The ride is much more comfortable and they are very sticky in the rain. I do have a spare but I had to do a little complaining at the dealer to get it.
  6. Me too. I usually keep the temp set at 72 on auto and that keeps the air on. When I shut it down to for one reason or another, from time to time there is some sort of funky smell like that of unwashed feet. I push the auto button and within a minute the funk is gone.
  7. Try a 3M clear bra. Requires professional application and no scratches and paint dings for life!
  8. If you don't feel like cutting any wires, check out my post in the Buy/Sell section. It's a decent option.
  9. I switched mine after about 5K miles. It's true that the low dust pads do not perform as well, but the difference is minor and you would have to be doing some long hard breaking to tell the difference. I drive somewhat aggressively at times at the drop in performance was insignificant. The cleanliness of my car is another story. There is a huge difference between the dust generated in the two pads. Wheels will stay clean with the low dust pads. There is some squeaking that will come from the low dust pads. That's the trade-off. With the stock pads you get ultra performance but lots of dust and short pad life. With the low dust pads you get little to no dust, quite a bit of noise and much, much better pad life.
  10. Sounds like something is not functioning properly. I'd take it to the dealer. Sounds like a warrantied item.
  11. ES is bigger inside, quite a bit. It's not as stylish but if you are a big guy or if you frequently have full size adults in the back seat the ES might be a better choice. I'm 6'1" and 300lbs so an adult sitting behind me in my GS is not happy. When I get a loaner it's usually an ES and there is plenty of room behind me. I think the ES has a better driving position as well.
  12. I paid $51,000 out the door with tax title and tags included and she's loaded with all that could be: Nav, AWD, Levinson. I think that the ES is a better deal. You could get it with everything but the AWD and its interior is much bigger. I'm 6'1" and 300lbs so with my seat all the way back there is not much room for an adult behind me. Not the case with the ES. But the GS is much more stylish and just a better looking vehicle.
  13. I have an 07 GS 350 AWD and I notice that when at a light or at a complete standstill the car vibrates when in drive. Anyone experiencing sonething similiar?
  14. I have heard of a clear plastic film that is quite thick and is supposed to be of very high quality to cover the fromt of a car and protect it from road pebbles that damadge paint. Has anyone had this or heard anything about this product.
  15. Mine is an 07 not an 06 and I believe there is a software difference. I'm concerned about compatability.
  16. Does anyone know if this mod will work in an 07 GS 350AWD with Levinson system?
  17. If you are a man of significant size, the GS is the way to go. It was a no brainer for me. I'm 6'1" and 300lbs. I love the GS. It's quite refined though can be a screamer as well. Interior materials looked and felt much higher quality in the GS to me.
  18. I don't know the version or how to identify the version. the car was purchased on September 30. of this year. It's the GS350 awd.
  19. I'm looking to use my dvd/nav/phone while moving. Anyone got a fix? I'm in NYC area if anyone know someone who can do it for $? let us know.
  20. Does anyone know if there is a way to operate the DVD and nav/phone features when driving? Also since there is no forum for the GS 350 07 or 06 GS 300, anyone experinecing engine noise like high pitch electronic tapping?
