  1. wassup fellow CL member... ride looks clean bro.. love the other photos of the three GS s together..
  2. try a search on l-tuned shocks.. as for ride, it is pretty good... most people thought my ride would be harsh, but i never had anyone complain.. it is more responsive and the dreaded bodyroll is gone.. rides firm compared to stock, but not harsh like some stock cars with sports suspension package such as the g35...
  3. no need to buy anything... its been a while since i converted my my gen3 navigation ecu to the 2005 toyota/lexus gen4 navi, but i know for sure its just a series of tapping the screen in order to get into the service menu.. search clublexus.... i would find you the link, but right now the server is down for maintenance..
  4. thanks.. Daizen advertise them at 1.9"F/1.7"R drop but in reality, it seems much lower.. the 20s raised up the car, but when i has 19s, i would occasionally scrap the front bumper on driveways and dips...
  5. you put b1s2 i think... i was just validating that your assumption was correct... :chairshot: i too need to replace that same sensor... i'll be installing mine over the weekend... good luck... by the way, in case you or anyone else cares to know, a 22mm open end wrench is the size you need in order to pull the o2 out...
  6. Daizen springs L-tuned shocks 20x8.5 F and 20x10 R TSW Kyalami
  7. you are incorrect...the two o2 sensors are for cylinder 1,2,3... radiator side to cabin goes from 123 and 456.. so the first sensor on the top radiator side is bank 1, sensor 1... bank 1, sensor 2 is the sensor closest to radiator side, but the one after the cat. LOCATION: cabin ----- 6-5-4----------3-2-1----- radiator 6-5-4 is bank 2 (cabin side) 3-2-1 is bank 1 (radiator side) sensor 1 (means upstream) they are located before the catlytic convertor. bank 2 sensor 1 is located on 6-5-4 (cabin side, pre cat.) bank 1 sensor 1 is located on 3-2-1 (radiator side, pre cat.) sensor 2 (means downstream) its located after the catalytic convertor.. bank 2 sensor 2 is located underneath the cabin (last o2 sensor) bank 1 sensor 2 is located underhood (under bank 1 cat. )

  9. i noticed that you put "custom CAI" in your sig.. the CEL light is probably due to the cold air section of your intake pipe.. my guess is that your cel light problem with go away once you remove the custom cold air piping and return it back into a short ram... another way you can go to fix that cel is to get an AFC... example: Apex-i S-AFC-II.. that and some dyno tuning should also fix your problem.. 10. i had the red/clear led lamps that i purchased mine at carson toyota.. i had the second version of these lights. they are maded in taiwan under the Sonar(same for the smoke/clear) brand name. the ones that they sell on ebay will throw the "light out" light on your dash unless its a v2. Sonar came out with a rewired system which is the one i had(version2). the v2 fixed the light out problem. the lights also come with chrome signal light bulbs but they are junk. you can't see the bulbs light up during the day. the cheap light bulb sockets are also junk. they can strip easily if you are not careful. in my opinion overall, these lamps are inferior products. the quality is not there so i returned them. i'll just stick to my oem lights. what did you pay for these at carson toyota? $470 something w/ the group buy.. ebay is cheaper..
  11. read first: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=33444 led bulbs should last you a long time, but if you were to replace 1, it will not be easy. you will have to take apart the whole housing (bake method) in order to be able to unsolder the burnt out led and resolder a new one. ALSO: FYI - these lights are illegal for public roads/highways. there are no reflectors within the tail lamps. there seems to be a different company that do have reflectors, but still considered illegal. i don't think any of these aftermarket tail lamps have a DOT number to back it up.

  13. i've had the torquemaster plugs in my gs300 since july.. power difference is not noticable, but i did gain a few mpgs.. i averaged 19-21 mpg on the irridium ngks and now i average 23-25. normal drving.
  14. it is possible to install any double din head unit. what i am concerned is your choice with the jensen brand. personally, i don't think jensen products are up to par with well know companies with established navigation systems. jensen brand is part of audiovox, if that helps. pioneer avic-d2 would be my choice. (i had the avic-n2)
  15. when i replaced one of my o2 sensors, it cost me $224 for just the part. i called a few local lexus dealerships to get the cheapest price. highest i was qouted was 280 plus tax.. i would go through the warranty if i were you.. if not, i suggest you call around and check prices. also, i don't think it's a good idea to buy one of those universal o2 sensors.
  16. so did you end up buying it or did you move on?
  17. to narrow the problem down, i suggest you put your stock intake back on and see if that corrects the problem.. my guess would be the srt piggyback as your problem.. with the after intakes being 3" piping, the air mass sensor does not correctly read the air flow.. i had the same problem with my intake.. basically, i wasn't getting enough fuel.. if the intake is the problem, give srt a call or invest in an air fuel controller...GL
  18. if you know the part number, try carson toyota in california.. doesn't hurt to try
  19. you shouldn't just reset the ecu by pulling the battery.. use a OBD 2 reader.. hopefully there is an autozone around your house.. they let you use the reader for free.. all it is is a small hand held computer that you plug into the OBD2 connecter located under the steering wheel.. no one can tell you what the problem is unless you find out what code(s) are being thrown out by the ecu... by the way, the VSC light will always light up when your check engine light goes off.. by the sound of you problem, my guess would be a faulty/dirty air mass sensor...
  20. to take the ash tray out, all you need is a small flat head screw driver and a towel.. cover the flat head with the towel and wedge it between the ashtray and the radio control... tilt the screw driver up slowly and the ashtray should pop out.. there are two clips that hold in the ash tray.. also, there are wires connected to the cig. lighter so just unclip it.. with the ash tray out, you should be able to shake the coins out in order to open the tray..GL
  21. try these guys.. i've seen some of their work and it looks good.. http://www.fabrion.net/index.php?id=awards
  22. did you ever find out how to fix the problem?.. also did you get the right dvd? part number should only be one of these: 86271-33030 - 2001/2 dvd 86271-33031 - 2002/3 dvd 86271-33032 - 2003/4 dvd 86271-33033 - 2004/5 dvd recalled i believe (not sure) 86271-33034 - 2005 dvd 86271-33035 - 2006 dvd (to be release in Nov. 06)
