Ok, I just got a 2003 IS300 and the moonroof makes this annoying popping sound that is very annoying to the ears. When I hear the noise I press up against the slider and the noise goes away. The dealership told me its the Plastic trimming on the moonroof but after they put "cushioning" its still there. Does anyone else have this problem in their IS300's? And Im thinking of replacing the moonroof since I have the one year limited warranty. Do you think its possible to replace it? Thanx.

Really? Would it look good? I mean would it look clean like the lexus one does or close enough?

I just have a question for you. Correct me if im wrong but does not the Lexus IS300 Have about 230 watt pioneer speakers already, which sound really great. Why do you want to install weaker 200 watt kenwood speakers? If im wrong then are the new pioneer spe akers more powerful for the new 2003 IS300? or what?

I have a question. Is it possible to isntall the lexus navi system on your lexus car after its been bought without one? In my case I just bought a 2003 IS 300.

Well, I talked to my dealership about it and they said that its a problem with all lexus cars not the lexus SUVS. The guy said that there cars are more aerodynamic so the rocks slide on thema nd cause more damage done would a rock hitting straight on (i.e. the suvs). The best to do guys is to contact your dealership and talk to them about Clear Shield. Its a great product to protect your hood and everything int he front, cost money but its worth preserving your car before its to late <_< .

Leasing is only really good if you have the money to put down at most half of what the car is worth. My IS300 I put down half of wat the car is worth and I pay only 85 dollars a month. :P :D

meguilar liguid wax god. That is an uber wax. I use it on my black is300 it makes my car looking like a crystal. wonderful product I recommend it for everyone. It also does wonders getting rid of scratches.

I wash my car Every week. This week I have washed my car 3 times, I just love washing my car.

You guys need to understand that lexus does not have to compare with the 3 series of BMW, I did research and found the Lexus IS300 has more torque than the 3 series so their its not just a lame engine. Also Lexus strives for luxury and elegance thats wat lexus means. I have 2003 IS300 and my brother just got his 2004 BMW 330 CI and its luxury in no way compares to that of lexus's. Lexus as so much more convient features its engine makes hardly any noise and the seats of luxus leather no one can compete with. I have tested my cars engine power and I find it to be very amazing. BMw strives for power and little luxury and Lexus strives for Luxury and almost the same amount of power. Its a matter of choice.

Your AEM intake sounds interesting. Is that a good and reliable intake to put on the 2003 IS300? How does it enhance the performance after installing it? How much did it cost you to buy and install it and where did u do it? Also is it replaceble back to the original one? PS OH by the way you said that someone keyed your car. Well if the key mark did not like totally scrape the paint off as if they were trying to cut oopent the medal under it. I have a great solution for you to try. There is a wax company called Meguilar and there wax is called Gold Liguid Wax. I bought it for 10 dollars and it does miracles to the scratches on my mothers RX300. Also it is a ultimate waxing solution really great and I strongly recommend it. It migh tnot get out the scratch if its really bad but it will make it more difficult to see or if your lucky it wil make it go away :D and if it doesnt work atleast you got a really good car wax that makes your car shine like a diamond.

I know exactly what you guys are talking about. My Black IS300 I just got 4 months already has to bad chips on the hood! I mean my 92' Toyota Corolla did not getting any chips. I think they did weak paint job on the car. But the chips might be just coincidence. 8(
