i want to go back to all the ppl that said lexus is a dressed up toyota. im not saying any one in this forum. if thats the case, is benz a dressed up chrysler? chryslers are a piece of crap. ive had one, worst mistake of my life. wat do u have to say to that. stupid comments like those *BLEEP* me off.

i think it does this for, not only the ones mentioned above, but for ground clearence since it is a off-roading capable truck. and, it a wild thought, but maybe to help passengers board

use the button on the steering wheel, thats how i do it

well my wife had a 98' chrysler minivan and it was a piece of junk. horrible A/C, tons of problems, bad engine, and not reliable. since then i have not even DRIVEN a chrisler. this seems to be the same prob. in benz to. (chrysler owns benz). one of my friends has a benz and it breaks down quite often and has is more in the shop than in her garage. i would get another lexus or anything but chrysler. and i would keep the NSX because those cars are a work of art

there is a built in equalizer but its only for bass treble and um....srry i 4get the last one lol....just go to audio and sound on the NAV screen

yes its quite simple. just push the audio button on the steering wheel until it switches to the DVD mode. it cant be done through the center console

it is prob. your steering wheel. its prob. not aligned correctly. re-calibrate it or have some one at the shop do it. (idk how to lol)

if your willing to spend big bucks, around 2k, you can get the top of the line after market nav, go with pioneer. it hooks up to your cars ECU (i think) and minitors performance such as 0-60. it also has DVD MP3 and, ofcourse, NAV built in. the only problem with after market systems are when ur destination is pretty far, u need 2 swap discs. (thats a pain) but the pioneer lets u do everything, and more, than the factory lexus NAV. you should be able to hook up your camera to it. it is more bang for the buck but it will not look as nice as the in-console NAV. it folds out of the cd-tray. tell us what you think :)

ok i seriously feel like i got ripped off, after tax i payed 58k. i have all options except sport suspension/package (i 4get). is this a bad deal? i think it was like around 54-55k without tax. hmmm its been a while so i dont remember. i have the 04' model

as we all know, decisions like this cant b made overnight, as a matter of fact my lease doesnt and for a month 1 1/2. but i was thinking i should start looking since it does take some time if u need 2 special order the car. (i had 2 do that with my GX, arrived christmas eve) i wrote this article on behalf of my dad since he didnt have time but he doesnt believe the BMW is a piece of junk with a good paint job. im praying 2 get n e thing but a BMW. i showed him this article and his thoughts changed but his buisness partner has an X5 and it doesnt have n e probs. well...ill get back 2 u on wat decision he makes...but keep posting...thanx

wat is the diff. in the 03' 04' and 05' models....prices..haha jk :P HID is one. how any speakers do u have? i have an 03' and it has 14 (yes i counted them) didnt the brochure say 18? besides the updates, is the NAV diff? wat about the engine and power? i might trade in for an 05' if there are some things i want, thanx

The point is for the passenger to enter moving. - Anyone have a GX without fold up rear seats? 2 - How is it without rear A/C? 3 - How slow must you go to get 20 MPH? 4 - What kind of MPG at high speeds? - (75-90 "This is the West") 5 - Should $10,000 to $15,000 and RX pull off the deal? k on #3 i think he ment MPG not MPH, n e ways i have a GX 1- r u talkin bout rear A/C as in the 2nd / 3rd row cuz the 2nd AC is awsome. the one thing my kids love about the rear ac is its adaptive. you set at a level and it will adjust it self. its the same thing as the front except its not digital 3- well i really redline the car sometimes and it can be prertty fast but the engine is extremely powerful. acceleration is slow at high speeds. like if i do 5 RPM to go from 75-90m takes a while for the speedometer to climb. but its still pretty fast

that happens to my es all the time, the ignition takes longer to spark the plug than usual but it doesnt happen as often any more so i dont worry bout it. any ways my lease is coming to an end lol. dont worry your not the only one with this problem.

well my lease is coming to an end on my es and im looking for one of these three cars: Infiniti M45 BMW 5 series Lexus GS430 my mind is set on the M45 because its got more bang for the buck. like road sensors that tell you when your driving out of your lane. It also has good acceleration and has good looks. while the bmw, well its a bmw. it looks good and has good stats but its a lil pricey. the base is 52k. and last but not least the GS 430 has the luxury. keyless entry, adaptive climate control, etc. if some one could point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it. correct me if im wrong but the base for GS is 45ish and the base for M is pretty much the same. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :) :) :) :) :)

well about the shifting, the newer ones have better acceleration, they also have this feature that if your car is manual it will shift for u, i no it sounds like its automatic but its something dif. u can also adjust when the car will shift according to road conditions. like there are three settings, fast, snow, and i forget the last one. this mite be the new GS, IS is not my specialty, srry

well lexus is known to have a very smooth ride, will my ride be noticably less smooth, and what happens to the hydraulics that came with it, do i need to tamper with the computer? what is the price range we are talkin here, thanx ps: can i do it 4 less that 1k?

order it from your old dealership, if that doesnt work, demand a new RX ,did u try other discs in europe?

wow...um...im not very good at interior but back in the day i used to have a camry with the same antenna prob. try unscrewing it and c if u find n e thing

you were correct. i can't believe something simple as a door lock would break on a $50k car!! <_< ← hey everyone makes mistakes...do u have any children? they might be playing with it while u didnt notice...just a thought....but its necessary u use the button to unlock the car..this could ruin the mechanism..and if im still wrong....as i said earlier, everyone makes mistakes ← no it was not because of children playing with it. fyi, there are defective locks on some GX470s and they have the updates for it at the dealer. ← o my bad, well i do not visit the dealer often so wouldnt no...srry

well the GX can be upgraded to a camera but its only shown when you are in reverse. i wanted to be able to see while i am driving. the thought of it sounds pretty interesting. also i wanted to add a camera or two. will this be expensive? i do not need a new screen since the NAV will do. so just for the cameras and installation...wats the approximate cost. thanx B)
