  1. Question for the management, I have a 400 on order. My salesman hardly ever returns my calls, I told him how annoyed I get being ignored, but it has not helped. 3rd Lexus from him/dealership. A deposit was left for this car. Should I contact the sales manager? Ask for another salesman? At this point I give up on him, and don't really want to talk with him anymore. Thanks
  2. Can't you still use the V710 voice command? Or the speed dial on the phone. I was going to put the phone in a holder, perhaps one of those vent holders. The there is the charging of the phone? CKK, I have a V710 which works great with my 400h other than the fact that I can't transfer phone numbers. So, I went to amazon.com and bought a used SE T616 phone and SIM card (~$100). I loaded my phonebook entries into the T616 and then transfered them to the car in one download. This went smoothly following the step by step procedures on the Lexus web site. This approach works for me because my phonebook is pretty stable (don't anticipate having to do this every day) and I was crazy enough to spend a hundred bucks for a "Lexus Phonebook Loading Device." ←
  3. Thanks for the reply. I would guess the 110v inverter is still in the rear? This may be a RES feature though? yes, there is a socket back there in the rear cargo area by the light ←
  4. Would anyone know if the 12v plug in still located in the rear cargo area on the left side, as was the socket on the RX330?
  5. How good a deal did you get. I am seriously considering the same. Been offered 28,500 from one dealer and 31,000 from another dealer for a trade in on my rx330. I am very tempted to make this move. I did it and now have 1200 miles on the H -- The car puts a smile on my face every time I get in it and drive. It is much faster on acceleration than I had expected and the gas mileage is now up to 27 mpg on the last fill up (suburban driving) up 2 mpg since new. I am very pleased. I find that it is not recognizable for what it is -- I would like to have people spot it for what it is. I have that with most of my other cars. I was also pleased with the "deal” I got… I had 8,5K miles on my RX330 that I purchased in October 2004. I would have recieved ~ 15mpg under similar driving conditions. :) ←
  6. I read the prius had this stalling problem on the highway. I understand it's the same software. Could this happen to the RX400H ??
  7. I am considering trading in my RX330 for a RX400. My dealer offered me a deal to trade my RX330 for the 400. Question to owners who did this, Would you do it again? Thanks
  8. What I have found is: If my car is in my garage, no squeaks, if I leave it out, sometimes squeaks. Looked at the rotors, if it's rainy or damp, you may see rust on them+squeak So check your rotors for a little rust buildup. The rotors used seem to be susceptible to rust.
  9. My experience with the 3.3 engine in the 330 is, try premium for at least 3 tankfuls. That's how long it took for the computer to fine tune to the fuel. I learned this after complaining about acceleration above 50mph. It does make a difference, but just filling up with one tank did not reflect much change. The Service manager suggested trying 3 tankfuls, so I did. Don't know if it will make as much difference with the 400h though. BTW the dealers put premium in all their cars.
  10. I use my laptop in Hotels. And for the Factory system, when the Wife is shopping, I can watch a movie on the Nav screen, so cool. That's enough incentive for me. Yes the screen does block rear view a little, but I tend to focus my view in the front direction. Thanks, Raymond
  11. Is there any provisions for XM radio in the 400H ?
  12. I was told to use premium gas. Tried a tank and it did not seem to help. Then a serivce manager told me to wait for at least 2-3 tankfuls. The computer needs to learn the higher octane. It does help. I feel a difference now. Perhaps not really woth it but it all helps.
  13. Do the rear seats recline like the RX330? http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/style...cons/icon14.gif http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/style...cons/icon14.gif
  14. What happens if you try to dial the phone via the keypad? ← While you are moving the keypad is not functional. The only way around it I've found is to dial the handset itself and it will connect. Kind of defeats the purpose. ← I actually meant the phone keypad, from what you say the touch screen has a keypad too. That would make sense that would not work. I would think voice dialing WOULD be active while you drive so you can keep your hands on the wheel, one would assume.... But it does not??? or does it?
