  6. What most owners do is put winter tires on the stock wheels and buy nice summer wheels/tires. I wouldn't put 16's on that car, Stay with 17"s. Go Brewers

  8. Get the wet/dry individual packets. Keep a couple in the glovebox. No water is needed.
  9. I agree with the trunk wiring problem, Lexus didn't make the wires long enough and they wear down and short out. Very common problem with the early ls. is this something I can fix? and yeah I think you are right because when I pulled the fuses for the cluster is was intermitinly still gettin power. Yes, Use the search function on top of the forums. There is plenty of info on the subject, It hasn't been discussed lately so go back a ways.

  14. I have a nakamichi cd headunit with cd changer and wiring harness 100% plug and play ready for install $450.00 shipped. If your interested reply. Ok, thanks. Right now $450 has higher priority's (dent removal, steering wheel, fluid changes etc..) thought it would be a bit cheaper but, gimmie a few weeks. Ill put it on the list. Definitely a must. To what degree of P+P are we talking anyway? How is the changer installed? Pete You could mount the changer under the passenger seat with the magazine drawer facing the back seat, Or you could mount it in the trunk(like stock) and run the wiring harness under the door sills and under the back seat to the trunk. I would install it under the front seat.
  15. I'll see if I have an amp for you, If I do it will be alot less expensive than $850

  17. I have the amp your looking for $250.00 shipped with 30 day full refund and 1 year warranty. Watch out for that ebay amp. Do you have an amp for a 2001 LX-470? I'll look and get back with you.
  18. Yeah, I have been looking for a good tire for some time. I figured even if I get 40-50k on the HTR's and buy another set for $388.00 I would have new tires again and get 90k + for $776.00. Variety is the ride of life :whistles: It snowed today about 2-3 in. The tires performed very well in acceleration and braking, Also did very well in the corners. The main streets are a sloppy wet surface, The HTR's handle quite nice on a cold wet surface. So far so good These tires are really growing on me. We'll see how they do down the road. B)
