Love it when the Dodge brothers go in and see their new dealership but insist on getting the donuts, then it goes to a Charger and a Challenger doing a killer donut. He had his arms around her and it was a headshot of both of them and it showed their hands. All they both had on was just a gold band. So true. I had a totally different attitude when I drove my Z28. I would be a bit embarrassed to drive it through the nicer areas because I would feel like the snobs were just thinking I was a poor little thing having to drive a 17 year old Camaro. At car shows, poker runs, the track.....I was the belle of the ball. I can't tell you how many people told me that that was the most beautiful Camaro they ever saw. I was always proud to be behind the wheel when I was around the crowd that appreciated the perfect condition of a car that age and the fact I could outrun 90% of the cars on the road. When I'm in Lexie....I don't bow my head to anybody. It might not be the most expensive Lexus, but she sure is one of the prettiest. I can tell you that sometimes I'm ashamed of myself when I'm around a bunch of hard working men out in the hot sun. They are working their tails off and I'm cruising around in a Lexus convertible. I am not about to go into religion here...but I feel like I'm not being much of a Christian. I do thank God though for being so blessed and try to tell myself that I worked hard for 40 some odd years while raising 2 kids and I deserve a car like that. I don't want people to think I'm a stuck up snob, or like the car and the porcupine joke. I just want to enjoy something that I worked really hard for and I take good care of it and will never take it for granted. Gee...I got serious, didn't I?

Cars are my favorite thing. I don't mind losing some money. You lose money when you go to Disney World too.

I'm going to order them from Amazon. I hope they come in an unmarked box or an Amazon smiley face box.

With the beautiful fall weather, leaves turning and swirling on the roads, I would like Lexus to add some new applications or filters to the Nav system. Things like this: 1. Longest route home 2. Windiest roads 3. Least traffic 4. Least traffic signals/signs 5. Most beautiful scenery 6. Least speed traps etc....see if you can think of any others. :)

I agree with you totally. It isn't as much the horsepower as the skill of the driver. I can cut a tree (traffic light) as well as anybody. I can get my 204 hp out in front of anybody and with my F-Sport suspension, I can corner pretty well too. My foot flexes well Denny. It is supposed to be 75 and sunny here today. I imagine it will get a good workout. I think the problem with most of the high horsepower cars out there is that they are so expensive that only old farts can afford them and they drive too sensibly. They, unlike us Denny, decided to grow up. Sad....

I have an old iPad. It was my hubby's and I acquired it when I got him an iPad air for Christmas. It really is perfect for all I do on it. It doesn't need my iTunes on it. I listen to my intercom system when I'm at home. Steve, I had to crop out my sister's foot. She stirred them up for me.

Funny you mention retirement. I just posted on FB. I trimmed about 100 limbs with my new extendable saw, did 4 loads of laundry, washed my car and rearranged and cleaned a room, all before noon and I didn't make a dime! Sheesh!!! Oh well it is about 75 and sunny with a slight breeze. I'm fixing to go enjoy my beautiful girl.

My dealership has a class like every 6 weeks for new buyers. They go over everything in great detail and introduce you to all the service personal. They even had refreshments. It was nice. When I bought my Infiniti, I got a 30 minute tech lesson and I was allowed another 30 minutes if I needed it. I never did. I haven't touched my owners manual. It is still tucked neatly into it's little cubby hole in my trunk. Please feel free to whack me with the chair. My car does everything I want it to. I can't think of anything I might be missing. oh.....about 130 more horsepower would be nice. ^_^

somehow I have my iPad merging with everything including my iTunes account. It doesn't have enough storage for that. I'm having to post this on my big girl computer. For some reason my iPad is now receiving and sending texts. Go figure....it isn't even 3G. Don't understand how that is happening. look at this beauty of a pic I took with my iPhone. I'm really proud of it and am going to make a canvas out of it.
