Because someone claims that the nav. system was messed up completely after putting in a backup copy. Need a second opinion before doing it.

Does anyone know that if i bought a new version of the dvd and then burned a backup copy to a dvd recordable if the nav unit would read it or not?

Just wondering did anyone has the new dvd for Gen.3 2004 model, if yes, where to order and how much?? And I am interested with the group buy thing and get a copy.

Driver side mirror does not work intermittent and passenger side mirror does not tilt the same angle as driver side when shift to reverse. Later, I found out that there is nothing wrong with the passenger side after they replace the new one cause it tilt the same as before. But the dealership just replace a new one whenever you ask for.

Its factory pre-set and you cannot change the tilt angle. I have both of the passenger and driver side mirrors changed due to malfunction.

Your dealership must have forgotton to connect back the drl cause I have mine data dots installed and the drl is still working fine.

My RX330's MAINT REQD light is on, anyone has any experience on this??

As far as I know, the newest GS and LX (but not the RX) are both come with 6 disk DVD in dash which can play DVD while parking brake is being engaged which make it easier to do the DVD by pass.

Just have the protection kit installed by the Lexus of Glendale and was told that my car was the first one to install the kit. May be it is not so common that HID headlights is being stolen here in the West coast as compared to the East. Anyway, there is only a data dot sticker on the corner of the headlights and cant find the lenses are painted with an epoxy paint that has very small data dots in it. Anyone know where and which area of the headlights that the small dots is paste to??

not true, some of the setting that you can't do by yourself and has to be done by the dealer.

Actually it does work on the 04 330. All you need to do is to hold down the "Override" button for about three seconds until it turns green. Hope it's helpful! I sure appreciate knowing it! ← Yes you need to hold the override button until it turns green and it sure works on my 04 RX. Thanks for the info and finally we can override this without any mods or splicing.

Catking, Did it improve the overall sound quality after you replaced the amp??? I spoke to a audio shop that they told me you just cant replace the factory amp cause there is data info. link to the head unit.
